wait so the dude PIP for his insurance was only 15K? that doesn't sound right.
That is the issue at hand. The AAA adjuster is telling me that the insurance present at the time of the accident (as set/purchased by the insured) only allowed them to pay a maximum of $15,000 per person involved. That is what he is saying. So IF that is true, thus disallowing me to pursue any further damages, then I am going to accept it and not tell the lawyer I contracted with. Otherwise I am going to get my lawyer involved.

Oh yeah, another thing. And maybe someone with military expierence can shed some light on this. I have heard that the military covers your auto insurance, is this true? Because the registered owner of the car (the wife, to answer above question) is active military. This might be some indication of the insurance premium.

No they don't cover your insurance in any case I have ever heard of I was active duty military for 5 years and currently still in the reserves.
