Just wanted to tell all the Darkroom fans that your support means a hell of a whole lot to us. We got much love for all the homies and homegirls that support us and show us love. Glad to hear so many of you liked the "North Pole" CD. We're very pleased with it as well. We're very busy so we don't really have the time to be online, other than updating our myspace page.

As for the homie Trajik and the other couple of homeboys that aren't diggin' some of the post-DogGay Records CDs, it's really not a big deal at all. We know they're just opinions and you all have a right to your opinions. We don't take it as any type of "hate" at all. It's all good. Hopefully you'll dig the next CDs that we have coming out.

For those of you wanting to hear the "Penitentiary Chances" or "Veteranos" soundtracks, just go back and listen to them. Those soundtracks were dope for their time, but that was 1998. Almost ten years ago. You're talking about young kids in their early and mid-20s with no responsibilities. We're all in our 30s now with wives and kids and tons of responsibilities. We've changed a lot since then, just as we changed a lot from our old-school stuff from 88-94 and from 94-97. We don't sample anymore, we haven't in a long time. We don't spit simple '80s raps anymore. We've been more than harassed by cops and feds. And through all that shit, the core of Darkroom has always been the founders, the original members. We've always kept the ball rolling no matter what.

See, in life there are people who talk about what they're gonna do and then there are people who are out there doing it. Darkroom has always been people who are out there doing it. Over the years we've encountered people who talk and talk and say how much they're gonna do, but when the time comes down to it, the only ones on the train is us. If we sat around and waited for all those people that just talk, we'd be sitting around waiting forever.

Now, for all the homies that love all the Darkroom music past and present, don't trip off of people's opinions too much because they are just that-opinions. And opinions aren't facts. So just 'cause someone says something is "tight" or "weak" doesn't make it so. If you dig the music, cool. Support it and buy it. If you don't dig the music, cool. Then don't support it. We've still got thousands of fans that love our music, past and present and we're always getting new fans as well.

Downloading has fucked the entire industry up. And when you download local independent artists, you're fucking the artist. You're taking food out of their kids' mouths. Independent artists aren't making millions off of Major label deals. We're busting our asses to make music. So please, if you're gonna download, do it legally.

The next releases are:
"Unknown-Addicted To The Hustle"
"D-Roll-The Game Don't Love You"
"Los Traficantes-Conecta Del Norte"
"Darkroom Familia-Last Vets Standing"
"K.I.D.-East Bay Raider"
"Venomous-I See Dead People"

And a few other releases we're working on.

This is my first post on the siccness in a long ass time and as you can see, I don't have a lot of posts. Like I said, we're very busy so we don't have the time to be online. I only came in here to see how the first version of D-Roll's cover got on here 'cause a homeboy e-mailed me and told me it was on here. So if anyone out there has any questions, wants to know about future projects or simply wants to chop it up, hit me up at: [email protected]
