how do you get fired right after the game, this gotta be some sort of record. I wouldnt blame it all on the coach, that stupid trade was a big part of the Suns not playing well. They played pretty well against the Spurs in the playoffs last year until Horry put it down and made a statement with that hard ass foul.

well he was an idiot to not do anything about the hack a shaq game they were playing (I didn't see tonites game, but that shit happened in all the other ones) a smart coach would've put a scrub in to do the same to the big retard or JUST TAKE SHAQ'S BIG NON MAKING FREETHROW ASS OUT. I couldn't believe he sat there and said "don't worry about shaq, he can make freethrows" HAVE YOU NEVER WATCHED THIS SASQUATCH PLAY BASKETBALL????? 10 times outta 9 (and if I'm lyin fine) this overgrown ass kid is usually 2/10 at the line in the first three quarters....he usually cleans it up to 5/8 in the 4th talkin bout "I make them when it counts" bitch no you don't!

I wanted the suns to win cuz I used to like the suns (when barkely & kevin johnson played) and I hate the spurs. so now we're gonna watch the Lakers & Spurs mollywhop Utah & New Orleans and play in the conference finals. I will be rooting for the Lakers since they're Shaqless and a Cali team. (plus they used to be my team waaaaaaaaaaaay the fuck back in the day.....I used to have a Magic Johnson starter jersey)

Suns GM refutes report D'Antoni won't be back
FOXSports.com
Updated: April 30, 2008, 12:25 PM EST

Phoenix Suns General Manager Steve Kerr denied a report Wednesday that Mike D'Antoni will not return as coach next season.

"There's no truth to that," Kerr told the Arizona Republic. "I asked Mike when the story came out and he denied it. Mike's our coach and has done a great job for four years. We'll get together soon and talk about where this team can go from here."

Sportsillustrated.com posted a report late Tuesday saying D'Antoni would not be back, and it followed a story in the magazine last week that painted a picture of strife between the coaching staff and management.

D'Antoni came under fire in the past week as the Suns struggled badly in their first-round playoff series with San Antonio, and Kerr said personnel evaluations would be made after the season, which came to a close Tuesday with a 92-87 loss to the Spurs,

D'Antoni has two years and $8.5 million left on his contract, the newspaper reported.

The Suns lost to the Spurs in the playoffs for the second consecutive year despite a major midseason deal to bring Shaquille O'Neal to Phoenix, a trade that sent Shawn Marion to Miami. The deal proved largely fruitless, as the Suns never seemed to hit their stride with O'Neal on the floor and and San Antonio took advantage of the 7-foot-1 center's lack of proficiency at the free-throw line.
