Not really a fan of Jay-Zzzz or the east coast cept for a few notables (Biggie and Nas), and I don't just listen to Bay music, but I gave the album a few listens and nothin' i heard on the album really impressed me. I was mainly payin' attention to the production aspect of the album and even that was nothing spectacular. The only track I'm really feelin' is that Change Clothes shit. For some reason, that song catchy as fuck.

yeah this is a cool azz album it jus some real smooth azz shit u could jus feal wat this nigga spittn about in every verse its like he telln everybody life man jus some real azz shit fo som main streem muzik im feeln this shit (i dont like dat nigga crew 2 much except for Camron) so thats hella weird how hes gonna retire
mane...I waz never really a Jay-Z fan like that...I've got all his albums burned...I've alwayz liked a song here and there but I never "dug" him like that..........UNTIL.........I heard THE BLACK ALBUM........I'm lovin this shit.....especially tha production and his honest concepts.......9.5/10 (not quite perfect, still could've been a tad bit better)
i agree with most of yall-->its a sik album--i give it a 4/5 simply because it a lil short on tracks and that track change of clothes is annoying....its the only song i skip (exlcuding the intro)

THE PRODUCTION COULD HAVE BEEN ALOT BETTER!!!!! HIS FLOS ARE SOME WHAT COOL BUT IF HE HAD BETTER BEATS,IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD WAY TO LEAVE THE GAME.HE DIDNT WALK OUT THE DOOR RIGHT.......I SAY HE SHOULD DROP A REMIX ALBUM WIT BETTER PRODUCTION THEN LEAVE THIS MUTHA FUCKA WIT A BANG!!!!!!!CALL IT THE -BLACK ALBUM-(REBORN) OR SOMETHING.
