simple the lakers whole offense revolves around shaq not kobe...lakers offense is simple,shaq posts up under the basket,the ball is giving to shaq,which 99% percent of the time,will draw the double team..that leaves a man open ,and its up to that man (kobe or samaki)to drain the jumper...if that person misses those shots,then the whole triangle offense is useless...thats why shaq without kobe would never have won all them titles without the support of the role players bieng fisher ,horry,fox and mainly kobe..the shaqless laker team has only kobe,to draw a double team,but theres no second man to distribute the ball to thats a threat,thats why kobe is forced to make all them shots..fisher is struggling fox is stuggling,horry is effective but cant play alot of minutes because of his knees...

The fakers would be a definite playoff if they had Shag playin and Ko-Me was hurt!! Shag is a great player because of his size and dominance!! Bullshit! First of all the fakerz have lost to a bunch of East teams, and they record sucks, u still have to win to make the playoffs period, and Ko-Me aint doin that!! Whoa. C'mon now playa. It's not so much a question of the East's alleged weakness, but more a fact of the Lakers weakness all around (with the exception of Kobe) without Shaq. You don't think the Eastern PLAYOFF centers and PF's would eat the Lakers up without the Big Toe in the middle? And what about the guards?
