First off, yes Mitchy was schduled to be on the show, the reason you didn't hear about him being on the bill was because the promoter was havin money problems, and I wasn't going to have Mitchy do the show for free. Second, The initial promoter and his investors are new to the game and never promoted a show this big in their life. New promoters have to realize you take baby steps before you start promoting huge shows like this, they bit off way more than they could swallow. Third the fans are the ones who suffer in the end, as for Rich Boy and Jim Jones and Fat Joe, these performers didn't perform in every city, you have what they call an alotment which means ex amount of money has to be raised before the performers will even come to the city, the promoters didn't have enough $$$ to bring Joe, Rich Boy, and Jim Jones. Fabulous was in the house with Jeezy because he trying to promote a new album and I'm sure Def Jam paid for his travel Chris Brown was in the house with Weezy because he was scheduled to perform with Weezy in L.A. the next day. A couple days before the performance it was a strong possiblity the show was going to be canceled, and I think they barely had enough money to get the insurance bond. Bottom line they would have done better to bring each performer one at a time to a small club venue, that way if they lost money it would have been minimal, as it stands the last number I heard was 50,000 thousand dollars in lossess, after they paid artists, and security. Word to the wise for all you new promoter new bootys!!! You have to sell your self and your promotional company to advertisers like Coke, Pepsi, Scion to help promote your show, that way their advertising dollars basically pays for your show, and your able to see a profit at the end of the day.... Promotions 101... Yeah Dat!!!
