True statement, but who determines what position should be played by who? Erybody wants to be that number one dude in the number one spot. Me personally, I just want to be able to eat off this shit so i wont have to take as many penitentiary chances as i have been taking for the last 10 years... In the process just making good muzik is my focal point, and IMO that is the best start. Good muzik.
i think everyone needs to stop listening to they homies and take constructive criticism. so to answer your question as who makes the determination its the streets and the fans. if you got niggas saying you wack then you need to re-evaluate what you doing in this game. or get out and let the real ones shine. or get better somehow.
How do you up a standard? How do you stop someone from putting out a whack project? it all sounds good in theory, but artist are gonna do what they wanna do.

Yeah you right thats why all the talks of movements never materialize, cause smart artists are not gonna put their dreams on hold to play outfield. I really think if you want to eat off this.....make good music...dont worry about what everyone else is doing, the mainstream etc. Just make music for your fans, and build up your loyal fan base. Even if you build it up to 2-3 thousand fans thats 20-30 thousand a project, put 2 decent ones out a year and thats 40-60 thats a nice supplemental income...and just keep building. I think some artists compromise their integrity, and follow the mainstream and lose fans by doing so in the hopes of having that hit that makes em big.

Niggas who make trash music make it hard for real artist who put something into the muisc. My shit is packaged with A+ artwork and is mastered by a professional not no homie in the apt. Im not faking niggas out selling mixtapes like their albums. Its hard for a nig to sell because these weak ass niggas who r selling trash make people not want to buy anymore underground albums becuse they got taken.

Niggas bar game be weak also and Im not hating because I have purchased all the homies and other Dago artist and the bar game is weak. I got albums in the sic shop and mixtapes let me know if Im slackin. I got 19 cuts on my shit and its no mixtape songs on the album and everything slap and the bar game is stupid. Dont mean to get at niggas but the truth is in the music.
U can put my album up against anybodys in the town.

I do not per se do music..Im not an artist, but I am responsible for The Gangsta Granny presents Bossman Hogg & Tha Knok. ( Bossman Hogg, Gangsta Boi, Regg Nutt, Gangsta Dre, Makaleno, A-Nasty, and Charlie Mack)I am also working With Young Sau and his next album called "Actions speak louder Then words".( album is straight fire) and have my hand assisting in an album that may or may not transpire with Adonis through my homie Raw Steel.
1B. The reason why you might not have heard my contributions is because so far no one including myself put the effort it takes to be sucessful, and everyone has their own path they taking. and I respect that.
2. Am I from Dago?
No, but I did live there, and have family still living there in Skyline. It was God Father Ed who I got at to get some of this music going. He hooked me up with LK ( Lil Keith) one of the Easts and the rest is history.
3. Would I have personal problems with someone who has as much negative shit to say about me as I do with you?
Naw, I Ive been told for a very long time that i have an abrasive personality. I am sure those who do not like what I say, is mainly because they either do not want to hear the truth or are not used to hearing someone be honest.Not saying my opinion is right or wrong....
