Damn, looks like my pre-season prediction just might come true. I had my doubts once Grossman got injured, but Ortin surprised me. He didn't do that much, but he did just enough to get the W's and most importantly lots of experience.

With Grossman back da bears are a completely different team and for the first time all year they have a threatening offense.

NO team can beat da bears in Chicago in January. It was -10 in December, just think how cold it will be next month. Looks like it most likely will come down to my two favorite teams, Chicago and Seattle. That's going to be a good fucking game, but I'm going stay with my roots and go for da bears. Bears and Seattle fight for the superbowl?! fuck, I never thought I'd see the day.

Moose has got to catch those passes. I have seen him drop way to many this year. He dropped a TD today. We need to get Mike Brown back even though McGowan played good. Need tp apply more pressure. They didnt get a sack until the very last series of the game when they got 2. To go somewhere in the playoffs they gotta get these things right.

^^I'm thinkin Denver has the AFC. Indi is going to flop.
They look strong....but they have to go through a Superbowl championship team that looks like they finally got their game faces on....so well see...the AFC still runs through New England....

Patriots are the champs...until someone beats them, the AFC does go through them.....

Every year people doubt them, and every year they are proven wrong.

Didn't know where else to post this so....
My favorite player, Jerry Azumah, announced his retirement on Thursday. I'll always remember going to the summer camp and having Jerry talk to my friend and I for a half hour about the game. He's a great guy and was a great player until his hip injury, which is what ended his career.
It's bittersweet because I know I can get his jersey now without worrying about him getting traded/released.

He was a savage RB in college. It takes a lot of talent to go from that to being a good starting cornerback. He lost a little after his injury, and hung it up instead of lying to himself and the fans. I give him credit for that, a lot of people would have just cashed a check.

Azumah was dope. Too bad he's retiring. He was a great person on and off the field.

Also, bears picked up Brian Griese. This might not sound big to non-bears fans, but if you're familiar with the QB problems da bears have had for the last oh I don’t know, 10 years or so this is a great pick up. Grossman should be starter, but chances are he'll get injured again. Griese is a solid number 2.

10 years is an understatement. They have had some of the best RB's and MLB's ever, but their QB situation as a franchise is horrible. Sid Luckman,George Blanda, and I guess Jim McMahon, and thats it. One of the oldest Sports teams going. Griese should be a solid 2, and we still got Orton. I guess Blake will be retiring now. He said if Chicago wouldnt resign him, thats it.
