Ok Mr. D-Sane who you got in your studio ghost producing for you lol...... That beat is hella dope and laid back.

I would never guessed in a million years that you produced that beat.........

I think E-Dawg should take the Beat and run with it.........

if you made an album would you want a low quality beat?
Im sure the album would be shits if they had to steal beats to get it done, lol

This beat is dope, I had to turn my bass down a bit, Damn, It gets better and better, I love it! Flipping that voice sample in there too, that was dope...

The Beat:
The beat is nice, definately a cool vibe. That 'creep with me as I roll thru the hood' sample gotta go though.

The Idea:
Wack. "Drop Top" was never a hit and that song is 10 years old now. Nobody is talkin' about rollin' in a drop-top anymore. If Mix couldn't justify a part 2 to a song that actually was a hit ("Baby Got Back") then I don't know what makes E-Dawg think cats are checkin' for a "Drop Top 2".

Don't waste a nice beat. Do a NEW song to it. Be on some 2004 stuff, not some 1993. I vote no.

I think the beat is real tight......It's got a cool laid back vibe to it.....I don't know if you should have E-Dawg spit over it though....Maybe save it for someone on SLR.....? Either way it's a tight beat.....

Basically E was over on Raptalk and said he planned on doin' a sequel to the song.....then he said he was interested in possibly gettin' some tracks from me for his album....so I said fuck it. I thought I would throw the little sample in there from the old Drop Top just to revisit it a little. Thanks for your commentary.

I'm glad ya'll are diggin' the beat though. And fuck you to whoever said I suck balls.

Drop Top

Since when are D-Sane and E-Dawg workin together? lol

I thought E-Dawg was real good on the Split 50 album, but the production was poor. Real poor. The only decent beat on the album is a fuckin tight song ("I Like It"). So one of the best spitters in the town hooking up with one of the best beat makers, I'm all for that.

Vote Yes.
