LMFAO! Yup, like SouthSanDago already pointed out, Cube wasn't too far off when he said "B-Real soundin' like he got baby nuts!" LOL! Also, there's a book I have called THE NEW BOOK OF ROCK LISTS, put together by folks from Rolling Stone. There's a section where they pick the "most overrated rappers," and Cypress was on the list! Their comment on Cypress was, "you smoke pot. We GET the joke already." Real talk!

IMHO, Cypress' first CD was cool (1991), but I don't know...something happened to them from BLACK SUNDAY and on and they acted like they wanted to have it both ways: they wanted to be looked at as still street, but they also wanted to be able to hang with the cappucino crowd, too...

Frost was at the Briownpride.com board trying to downplay the whole incident. According to him he pulled out a brown rag and Nortenos started throwing red rags at the stage, so he tied it together with his brown rag but he said that no body rushed the stage.

About Frost switching up from Latin rap to banging on wax, he was disrespecting Nortenos on his 2nd cd "East Side Story."

Yup I knew a few ppl that bought that album because they mentioned "see all the scrapas run" in that one song 18 with a bullet. Little do some ppl know that even scraps call themselves scrapas as a put down.
A gang of ppl didn't really know it was a scrapa album till you actually saw where they were from -Harbor Area 213- and
look at the cover with the fool casually throwing up a 3 with his hand and the LOS hat.
I was at a homies house and seen the cover and studied it, it clearly said south 13 on the shoutouts.

They've (NF) come a long way from being a minority of the prison population forming a group out of protection, i believe an article in Maxim called them the most ruthless and organized prison gang. Sureños up north get PC'd up whenever they get locked up, for PROTECTION...not even protecting themselves but having the jail do it for them...does that make them bitches too??
