Im almost in the elevator union! I did the oral interview and am waiting for my results. In the local 8 elevator union you make 55$ hourly maxed out, on top of that there is no time and a half. It is all double time.

Well honestly your kinda late. The union that I applied for only tests once every three years. You can search for IUEC 8 with google if you want to get more info though.
