How did D sane agree with you? All he said is dont get me started? What that mean I do not know. The guy working at a burger joint has what to do with his career? So if you want to rap you have to work where?
I read D-Sane's comment to be that of exasperation with the guy, implying maybe what he has on the talent side he lacks on the desire side. We have gotten these sentiments from D-Sane from so many of his former artists.

About the job, nothing against that. I just threw that in there to show people I know a little more than people think.

OK....first of all my comment was directed AT xpanther206. That was kind of a sideways remark that you made about Crytical and I didn't appreciate it.

Second...anybody that listens to Crytical's album can tell what the guy is about. He's about his family. He has a wife and 2 kids that he busts his ass to support and they come first in his life. He has a full time job (regardless of where it is) that he has had for quite a few years now that pays his bills, keeps a roof over his family's head and food in their mouths. So many of you think it's as easy as creating a dope album and that's it....YOU'RE GONNA BE RICH AND FAMOUS! It doesn't work like that. Crytical's album did exactly what I knew it was gonna do....fizzle out quick. Why? A) Because the man has priorities that have nothin' to do with music and B) I wasn't goin' to sit here and throw MORE money into ANOTHER project that lacks the full time involvement of the artist.

Am I mad at Crytical? Nope...because I understand his situation. I respect him for being a MAN and takin' care of his family. But at the same time...I knew this was gonna happen to his project and tried to minimize the losses as much as possible. I made my money back from the press-up of the album and that's all I really cared about.

He wants to do another album and we have discussed it....but right now I'm reluctant to do it because I'm not working for free anymore. Anybody I work with from now on is comin' out the pocket and paying me what I'm worth! No more free beats...no more free studio time...no more free mixdowns...nothing. Why do you think I shut SLR down? To eliminate the expectation of free work from me. People got way too comfortable around here while I suffered...it will never be that way again.

It's on Crytical if he wants to do another album. I've already told him what it would take to do it...now the ball is in his court. All I know is I can't sit around waiting for people anymore...I'm gettin' too old for this shit and the time for me is now. My life has improved drastically for me since I shutdown SLR and I'm moving forward. Anybody that wants to ride with me can ride with me...but they gotta carry their own weight. I'm not carrying anybody ever again.

He'll be comin' with some more fresh new heat, can't even put a date on it though. He's still droppin' an occaisonal feature. He's still dealin' with the daily struggles. He's still handlin' his own business and takin' care of his. He's tryin' to narrow his focus and figure out the path he wants/needs to take to get him to where he wants/needs to be. He still writes, and he damn sure ain't gave up on the dream.

Well damn panther....I guess I'm not the one who has no idea what the fuck they're talking about. You heard the phrase about ASSumptions right?

And just as a side comment in regard to what D-Sane said, "That was kind of a sideways remark that you made about Crytical and I didn't appreciate it," it's kind of like HELLO, did you even read what you posted about Crytical before you submitted it? "Stick a fork in him, he's done"?

That is the sole reason I even got in this thread was because that remark WAS sideways and uncalled for seeing that you really don't know, and now it's been proven by the man that you said was proving me (or anyone who supports Crytical) wrong...Please...

Bottom Line: Is the guy going to drop another album?

Based on what D-Sane said (I was hoping/suspecting he'd come on here and lay it down for us), I'd say no.

I worded it poorly. But if what I'm saying is "don't expect another album from Crytical" and there are people on here saying "he'll come with another album" then I'll still put the truth of my stick a fork in him comments up against the false optimism of others on here. Only time will tell.

Call me an asshole, call me out for disrespecting one of my all time favorite artists, but don't call me wrong b/c what D-Sane said strongly supports the 'stick a fork in him' sentiments (in a better, more layered, respectful way, certainly). He's done, period.

I hope I'm wrong.

PS Every time D hops on here it is great to hear that now he's really eating off of his talent, him and a few others in the NW really really deserve it.

I was simply bringing up the principle of the matter. It was disrespectful. I'm not calling you an asshole, or a bitch, or any other name I could think of. Why? Cause that's NOT why I posted in this thread. My sole purpose for posting in this thread was because your comment was unwarranted and disrespectful, to someone that you claim is an all time fav, etc...Shit, I mean, I can understand if you're dissappointed, I am too, cause Crytical has loads of talent....But what I'm getting at is, respect. What you said lacked it in all senses of the word.

And until Crytical dies, you will be wrong, cause there's a chance it could happen. I'm not trying to say I'm right and you're wrong about his future, cause his future is NOT what I posted for. I was posting cause of the disrespect and misunderstanding going on. Yes, I know it's suprising to see me talk about respect, but I do know a thing or two about it...I've had some good teachers.

OK I gotcha. We're both hoping for the same thing in the end (another album from Crytical).

Like I said...some people have MORE IMPORTANT things to worry about in their life than making xpanther206 happy by puttin' out another album. I guarantee that if Crytical didn't have a wife and 2 kids to worry about that he would be goin' full throttle on this music shit. But this is REAL LIFE...not some fantasy land where you can just do whatever you want, when you want and how you want. Bills have to paid...school clothes need to be bought...and cars need to be fixed so people can get to work.

Not everybody comes from a well-to-do family that puts them through a $7,000 a year private school and then college. There are poor folks in the world you know.

Crytical ain't "done" doin' anything. The man has PRIORITIES. There's a difference.
