This is the most Biased Thread I seen to date... How you come on a West Coast site and ask who is a better rapper Crooked I or Jay-Z... I grew up in dago homie... So this is my UnBiased opinion... I dun' heard plenty of Jay-Z and plenty of Crooked I... Crooked I might be a better Emcee Today... But if you take a young Reasonable Doubt & In My LIfetime Vol.1 Jay-Z and put em against Today Crooked I's... Jay-Z would crush dude... The Jay-Z of today aint even worried about rapping... He just rapping cuz somebody gotta sell records out his label to keep the Roc-A-Fella buzz going... I'm not biased at all... I think Crooked is a beast... But he aint fuckin with old school Jay... and thats my Opinion...

Jay-Z isn't a rapper anymore, just a Pop Artist. Fucking showman, business man.

So to sum it up, I think Jay-Z of back then is better, but the Crooked-I of now is the better "Rapper."

Crooked I spazz out all the time but he like a battle rapper, (to me) battle rappers dont make hit songs. Jay-z a get you in a battle and his track record show he make hits. Just gassin wit out a beat Crooked I, but a good song Jay- Z.
