To me the kid was funny before the interview, but after watching him live and talking about his issues, his music and other shit. I don't think he's "retarded" as many of you put it. It's nothing but respect for him coming from me, he's trying to hustle just like the many wack rappers that are in the bay area. So he's not alone in that category ya know?

And rappers from any region need to put themselves on the map if they wanna be heard, push yourself out there..don't just try to sell CD's on your block, you rappers need to start driving from city to city and hustle hard.

I remember I used to see more rappers do that in the 90's, I'd be at a mall or somewhere in certain cities, I'd see a familiar rapper trying to get me to buy his CD for 10 bucks out the box. Those were the good days, now a days all you rappers only rely on myspace/twitter and shit like that. No, get out there and hustle out the trunk so people like me can actually hear you!

But back to Crazie Locs .....the kid is smart, retarded he's not...y'all need to stop looking at him that way though. If Lil B can make noise, why can't Crazie Locs be heard either? It's pretty obvious he loves the rap game and he knows he aint making no money out of it. But hey...he's trying right?...

that's my two cents...

Most rappers are too good to hustle cds. Or atleast that is what I think it has to be. I am not talking dropping them off at a store or some little distributor, and collecting some crumbs either. But actually out there in traffic on a daily basis selling themselves. Crazy Locs figured that obvious one out. There was a time I would see rappers out there hustling their product, what happened? I used to run into The Team all over Northern Cali doing it. That is what got them out there to begin with, atleast imo. I am loving the fact Crazy Locs is getting recognition, good or bad, it just shows persistence pays off.

i feel bad for the dude, because you know some cats got over on him for a few of those those verses...i respect what he's trying to do, but in no way can i support his music with a straight face...its just horrible. Yes the guy has a sad story, but shit....who doesnt?

So I support the dude in the sense that Im happy he's getting some notice, but music wise he is still a joke, mental issues or not...he has always been a form of comedy with his...errr..."rapping" ...if he wants to "be down with chasin a dream" ...who's to stop him.

and I still say the crank call we made to him was funny as shit !!! Yeah, it was done as a joke, but its not like we called him up just to clown him....if anything it gave him a lil boost of confidence and a little bit more drive to keep hustling...

thats considered bum nigga shit now days. i see selling or giving them away at shows, functions, online, in stores. but that running up on people selling out the trunk loitering shit isnt the biz due to the fact theres a million rappers out and the game isnt wat it used to be in the 90s. not to mention muhfuckas have jobs and careers meaning no time to stand in a mall parkinglot all day tryna convience everybody that walk by to buy your cd. digital is the best way to do it now

Bum nigga shit by who? Some other bum niggas? I get your point but if what others think is the reason "rappers" don't hustle their cd's then they should pick another career. That is just one part of the hustle you just don't see anymore. Not because of any other reason but laziness, imo. Digital is good and all, but why pay when it is for free? That is the thought process of many, hence, the sales we see today. The numbers do not lie, people do.

If muthafuckas have jobs and careers, they should rap about that shit there, or get out the way for the people doing it for real. My biggest problem with the rap game is there are too many liars which make it hard for the real ones to shine(the ones with talent). But once again there needs to be a method to madness. If you have a 9-5, i'm not knocking it, but you have no business in a game that requires 24-7 dedication. That alone would clear up alot of this mess. That way, they can get back to being fans instead of the equals they think they are.

rap is entertainemnt just like movies so of coarse majority rappers rap about shit they dont do, its more for entertainment and to suit fans who are out there doin it. if somebody outside all day everyday trying to sale a cd then they need to step they life game up bc u cant just sit around trying to sell cds outside all day everyday if u have real responsibilities like job, children or family to take care of. i doubt anybody can get most people doin music now to go back to being fans only. its easy for anybody to record now with technology. u dont even have to have a commercial studio to record now a mofo can cut a album with a decent computer, downloaded recording software and still sound crisp as the studio

Having no idea who you are but based on your name (since you won't divulge it), I'm sure you know PLENTY of legitimate rappers that do or did street shit that now hold a 9-5. I see no shame in that. Some folks grow up but it doesn't change where they came from or live.
