The albums pretty dope for those wondering. Im not a huge Freeway fan, but jake realy brought out the best in him IMO.
I really think that Jake One has that ability to make anyone sound good. Whenever he has production on Bay albums, I generally tend to like those songs more. Keak and Turf (2 unique artists that don't fit any mold) sound great over his production. Freeway is also kind of hit or miss with me, but from what people have been saying, this sounds like a hit. Jake One should do more albums with a single artist like Exile started to do.

Album is dope, haven't stopped listening to it since I got it on Tuesday. Production is on point, lyrics are great, really good songs, not just random verses. The packaging for the cd is so sick too, came with 2 Freeway mixtapes (Freelapse and this jake one produced one) and a link to download all of the instrumentals as well. Quality product, well worth the money.

the last track is dope
that track is sick as fuck and the best one on the album.

overall I guess I was expecting more. Im a pretty big fan of Free, and I thought his last album, Free At Last, was a lot better than this...although I think that album is underrated as shit and got about 3 months straight worth of play from me.

anyway, there are about two or three really tight tracks on here, and the rest was kind of just average. good to add to the collection, and ill give them huge props on trying something different for marketing the project....but Im only gonna give it a 7/10.

I finally got around to listening to the mixtapes that came with this, and damn they are dope. Freelapse is basically freeway over dre beats, and he rips them. The Beat Made Me Do It is also produced by Jake One. It's like 2 Freeway/Jake One CDs, a Freeway/Dre CD and a Jake One CD all for the price of one. Definitely worth the money.
