keep good Hyphy music alive..keep good mobb music alive...keep all good and original music alive. I hate how people are calling an "end" to hyphy music, call an end to shitty no talent and or bandwagon rappers..but not hyphy music. It can be "hyphy" music and be good music (ie. The Team & Mistah F.A.B.). If you don't like hyphy music then so be it, don't hate on it as long as its quality. I dont like Jay-Z that much cuz of his style and shit, but i can see that he's talented and I dont hate on him.

also i understand that older fans of bay rap don't like it because its not what they grew up on, but dont hate on us for having a differnt style. I aint hatin on u for havin arthritus and tense joints so dont hate on us for havin fun gettin out tha roof of a whip.

i love good hyphy music and good mobb music

if yer just NOW learning about the Bohemian Grove thing then do a lil research cause it's nothing new and has NOTHING to do with Bay rap (which is what this forum is for)...Yer boy must be the next Dan Rather or some shit cause he sure has you goin with this "breaking story"....

Of course I loved Dre's music....But Dre wasn't a hyphy rapper to me...He was a rapper who helped invent the term and style. But if you're one of the cats who started listening to him in like 2001 then I can understand your point somewhat. To me, Dre's BEST SHIT was always the Strictly Business/YBB shit. That's just me tho.

But it's halfway idiotic to say just cause I appreciated Dre as a rapper that I should appreciate every moron who throws on a spongebob backpack and shakes his dreads to a beat with techno sounds and no melody whatsoever...
I AGREE 1OO% ON WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT DRE. DID YOU USE TO GO BY THE NAME KAOS WAY BACK IN THE DAY OR AM I CONFUSING YOU WITH SOMEONE ELSE?

I never really grasped what a hyphy song was ever, it just sounded like crappy bay area rap to me. I'm glad it is officially put to sleep. I guess if a song had a fast tempo and people spewed out a bunch of bay slang throwing in buzz words like ghostride it was a hyphy song i dont know. I guess it was supposedf to embody how wild bay area heads are but folks were wild out here before people tryed to market it and reformulate it as our versian of "Crunk" music which i always thought was just as stupid as the hyphy movement ever was

Good music that is also original will always win. Just like in the 90's when real gangsters were doing the mob shit it was real. Then non gangster ass suburban dudes started doing it and it died. The same has happened to hyphy. If you read the article all the dude is saying is take a look at the music and be more creative. If your not a gangster or a hyphy ass person speak on what you are and people will accept that. Just be original and creative. The other day i went to the independent to see MF Doom, but he was a no show. Instead i saw some weird ass dude named pigeon John. I didnt know a thing about this cat, but he got up there and rocked it for 90 minutes. His music was mad corny, but it was real, and after i kinda know who this dude was through his music. What Im trying to say is if i listen to your shit and i cant pick you out among the crowd all you do is blend in then thats weak. Be original for a change and stand out.
