Warriors biggest problem after J-rich leaving was not having anyone who would take it in to the hole consistantly and put up two points...
he's an explosive player in the hole and we'll glide by guys and use his body to get the dunk!!!

all W fans should be VERY HAPPY...

^J-Rich never had the ball handling skills or quickness to consistantly take it to the rack...he didn't draw a whole lot of fouls and when he did he could never knock down his free throws... Maggette is much better in that respect but he can't shoot the ball as well as J-Rich.

LOL @ people saying "who"

If you dont know who Maggette is, you shouldnt be watching basketball. period.
Seriously. Not like this guy is unknown, or a scrub.

He's just been playing for the bastard stepchilds of LA. lol.

Another thing I'm hella excited to see is B Wright, Bellinelli, and Randolph getting pt.

Like I said, he didn't have the ball handling skills and quickness to consistantly do this against better defenders. With the kind of athleticism he has he should be getting to the line WAY more than he does. Maggette in his first 7 seasons in the nba played 444 games and shot 2,738 free throws. J-Rich in his first 7 seasons played 520 games and shot 2,078 free throws. Thats a huge difference and shows J-Rich clearly wasn't taking it to the rack enough and drawing fouls.

Everyone knows JRich had sub par handling skills, ie he couldnt really create his own shot. not as bad as sjax tho lol. but jrich was a boss bc he could hit the j and the 3

I'm excited for Maggette playing for GS. Dude shot the 6th most FT's in the league last year... that's desperately needed on a team with dudes like Jackson and Harrington who live to shoot the 3. With Maggette and Monta, Warriors have one of the best backcourts as far as getting to the rim. Should make life for Andris Biedrins very easy.

I over did how good J-Rich is but i still think he fit in with the Warriors perfectly and will never say otherwise. He plays a different position then Maggette so there not totally comparable. J-Rich is definitely a decent shooter and plays his position well. I never even thought about after that injury happening to him, him being so passive and now i realize that is probably the reason the W's traded him besides the money issue, they probably thought he was injury prone like BD.
