Im still waiting to find out the actual contract #'s.
Some sources are reporting 5yr/$50 mil. Ive also heard 5yr/$40 mil.
Im OK with the signing if his contract is worth $40 mil but definetly not $50 mil. Thats too much to pay a guy that is known to not be a great shooter or defender and doesn't pass the ball.
On the bright side he can help the team in half court play if the fast break isn't going and I wont have to watch him kill the Warriors every year.

the difference between 5yr/$40 mil and 5yr/$50 mil is $2 mill a year aka chump change.

Its not that simple, this guy broke down the difference. Im sure its alot moe complicated tho.

his contract a year would be about the same of what they we're payin barnes and pietris a year combined...so it pretty much even out and maggette would be way more productive then those two will ever be

davis was never gonna take the warriors any deeper then theyve got already, his numbers are close to davis anyway, i think its just replacement, i wouldnt expect much difference next season, they need a strong big man, not another davis
