Mexico's crime, especially the violent crime, but also the drug game, is on an entirely different level than what "we" are accustomed to, here in the US.

They're talking about bringing in the National Guard in Chicago for violence there; that is just a small slice of pie compared to that of Mexico. The police are paid to look the other way, or they're also behind the black ski masks slaughtering people. Torture, by burning, scalping, acid, dismemberment, rape, etc. is common. Just because your family isn't involved in your dealings doesn't make them safe. There is no sympathy for women, the elderly, or children. A beheaded baby sends the ''right'' message.

The kidnapping, rape, torture, and murder of the women in Ciudad Juarez is another story that is amazingly overlooked by the American media. You'd think, with it being practically ON OUR BORDER, there would be more coverage. We can be saturated with the treatment of women in the middle east, the rape in the Congo, and even Tiger Woods' ''sex addiction''...but over 20 years, there are estimates that over 1000 women have been abducted, raped, brutalized, and murdered within a 5 minute walk from our precious American soil...and nothing.

To those interested, I made a thread about it a while back: http://www.siccness.net/vb/showthread.php?t=265017&highlight=ciudad+juarez

Also, "On The Edge" was a short film made about this; here's a link to the first part (of 10), on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNIZvrGDPak

ALSO, for the Chalino Sanchez fans, here's a video of his last show, last song, on the night he was kidnapped, tortured, and murdered, and a clip of the note he recieved from someone in the crowd just before he called off his show and left:

i had a few family members lost to cartels out in culiacan, but they knew what they was getting into before they got involved. shit is wild, they got the army patrolling neighborhoods, AND STILL MURDER HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE, INCLUDING COPS. you know damn well if the army was out patrolling the usa streets no one would do shit, but these mutha fuckas are ruthless.
