The poll question "Which Next Gen Console Would Win The Console War?" compared to the thread content is a little bit different. I voted Wii since they have sold more than both PS3 and 360 and appeal to more of the younger crowds, which means they will likely sell more in the end. I personally prefer PS3 over both though.

The poll question is suppose to refer to which console you thinks best.. aka console war..

And Lee, did you say the PS3 is american made? I thought they made that shit in japan since sony is a japanese company.. I thought microsoft was the american made product.. Haha, RROD goes to show you how good "american made" products are now a days

I own them all too and 360 is still my favorite.. Even tho im loving my WII so far too.. I bought a WII a long time ago and sold it cuz at first no games were comin out for it.. Jus re bought it like a week ago and im gettin down on some SSBB and zelda

I also copped my 36" VIZIO LCD HDTV today too 360 is lookin mighty fine on this HDTV!

Shit i got it flipped then.. and yeah, you got that right.. I will admit xbox 360 got the short hand when it came to bein built right.. I mean my hasnt got the RROD, but i'm still expecting some time down the road that it eventually will thats why i got my PS3 and WII to play when it does.

Thats not what a console war refers to. The company that sells the most systems wins the console war. It's not determined by which console people like the most, it's determined by SALES.

This thread should have been full of people posting the reasons why they think (insert console here) will sell the most systems at the end of the system's lifecycles. Instead it turned into a thread on which console people think is best. Misleading.

If you have an Xbox Elite you dont have shit to worry about the shit breaking like the regular white 360, Xbox Live owns anything on the internet when it comes to competition gaming, bottom line is you aint a real gamer if you prefer ps3 over xbox360 at this point in time. and PS3 better controller?????? honestly, sony always wins, i liked the ninendo 64 better, back in the day, but i just have to face it, sony releases hundreds of more games than the competition, not sure if they will do that to x box, but either way, the 360 isnt even that impressive

Used to be in the past generation of systems I'd get all the current one, this time around I've been loyal to the 360, I just don't see a need to get any of the other gaming systems at this point, XBOX has it locked as far as I'm concerned, games, online, everything about it points to winner...

There are no games on the 360 i find appealing, except for the ones that are ALSO available on the PS3. Not to mention, i utilize the Blu-ray player in the PS3.

So no, the 360 is NOT more benefical to me. Way to be a hypocrite with the "biased" line.

I have a 360 and PS3. If you dont like the game of the year (Bioshock), GOW, Halo 3 then thats your opinion which I dont belive is truthfull.

What im saying is that the games you like whatever they are are most likely on the 360 but there are great games like the ones I stated that are exclusively on the XBOX. Thats why I feel its more beneficial.

You are right about the blueray though. I dont have a HD tv though which is why I did not mention that. I guess my opinion is based on non HD t.v. owners.

I dont mean console war between companys.. I mean a console war between you'reself.. Go onto gamestop.com's forum and check out their console war sub-forum, people dont talk about which is saleing more people are talkin about which console they like more and why.. But i guess you can take it either way, but i was refering to (thought first post would explain this too) which next gen console you like best out of all the ones out there.

Sony dosnt always win.. They might've won before the xbox came out.. But we all know when the first xbox came out even PS2 owners were amazed.. As long as Microsoft promises games like Halo and Gears Of War i dont think it'll go down in sales..

Btw, i'm gettin down on my WII.. I haven't touched my 360 since i copped my WII again.. Im loveing Zelda and that DBZ game I dont think ill play 360 until GTA4 comes out, or unless i feel like gettin down on some RSV2 online with my 32" LCDHDTV

360 has the best games out, plus the pad and look are sleeker and feel better out of the three systems so its my best so far, but i was pissed for a month when it died and i had to wait for them to collected and drop it back off. Not cool Microsoft.

I mostly use my ps3 to play ps2 games at the moment cos there aint much good ps3 games out that i aint already played on 360, hopefully that will change soon.

Wii is cool for when i have guests especially girls cos they love that shit, but you cant play it for long peroids of time and sometimes you only wana uses your fingers to play games not you whole body, No more Heros is the shit though.

What? Wii isn't the same as PS3 and 360? Why do you say that? Because its not as powerful? So any console not as powerful as the 360 and PS3 aren't considered real gaming consoles? Or maybe you're going to say its because it has a lot of casual titles. Well the Wii still has plenty of core games. And online capabilities do not determine whether or not a system is for "real gamers" or not. The Wii may be different because of its unique controller, but it's still a major video game console and it IS competing with the 360 and PS3. Anyone who says otherwise isn't thinking clearly.
