In the speaker/audio industry, we call these B&W rip-offs.
Why, because they use a kevlar woofer? I guess anyone that uses a paper cone woofer is a Sony rip-off...right?

There are only so many kinds of material you can use for a woofer, that is relatively flexible, yet durable. Kevlar is one of the most durable around.

BTW, these look NOTHING like B&W aesthetically speaking. Especially since B&W uses a fuckin yellow woofer with a aerodynamic dust cone.

The one pictured is passive, but I had them slap a 100w amp on it and put protective bars over it with rubber feet. It has a bamboo veneer with real bamboo structure and corners. Elevates your music to a whole other level.
