I read somewhere else cats was talking bad on thsi album bc the beats saying he went pop. imo he didnt go pop he said in a interview that this album was inspired by teh afrikabanbatta sound. im glad common iis doing new sounds on all his projects it shows he growing and trying new thangs. and i hope this album sales well like his last two did.

Yea I hear alot of ppl on the other boards shitting on this album hard.....Now the word is Com sold out with this disc, which I think he didn't do.....Dude wanted to with a more live sounding album and he did....Niggas just mad he didn't come out talking all conscious like he usually does on his records.....This album is real dope though....He brought out another side to him with this one and Im likin it

Sides this nigga is supposed to be clicking up with NO I.D. and Kanye for his next album after this, so I dont see how mothafuckas can say he went pop, smh

I think the problem is alot of cats be stuck in the past and when a major artists like Common, Kanye, Snoop, Jay-Z, T.I change they sounds to stay dated or work with different producers they get labeled a sell outs. and imo i just dont see common being a sale out bc he never changed his image look or turned his back on fans. If people listen to his content on this album he still the same rapper just changed the tempo of the beats a delivary thats all. I like this album alot though and still gonna support and bump it.

I took 2 listens to this album and didnt like it.3rd tyme I started lyking the beats. Lyrics was on point.Jus a new sound from Common I'm not use to hearing.Bt that euro sound is wat sells.They can dance to it in the album.Plus artist got cater to other regions america don't buy albums.evrythng is digital in the states.
