Unbelievable!! I can't believe they pulled it off!! Lowest seeded team to ever win a national championship. Aside from the womens softball title in 1998 this is the first championship for Fresno in any sport. And yes, Detwiler was an absolute beast!

Great baseball in California, everybody's acting like this is a huge cinderella type deal, but bottom line they just play great baseball in California and even though Fresno isn't the cream of that state, theyre still pretty god damn good.

Go to gobulldogs.com I'm pretty sure you can buy tickets for the wisconsin game already. I'm gonna get mine for sure since I get student tickets. I recommend you get a family pack since its cheaper overall and you get 4 tickets.

That wisonsin game should be dope, get the tickets now though since thats the first game of the season.

Congrats to Fresno State. I caught the last 4 innings, good stuff. That pitcher throwing some god-awful amount of pitches was amazing.

Best part was some poor son of a bitch on the team jumping OVER the doggy pile after winning...LOL I was dying.

all i got to say is Tom Mendonca......Newest member of TEAM USA and College World Series MVP

i remember seeing him play in LL.....he threw 74 MPH from LL distance (MLB Equivilance=95 MPH).

when he was a sophmore he hit 92 on the gun and threw a no hitter....after that the decision was made that he had a brighter future as a hitter and infielder..........great decision by his family, coach, and himself............
