A lot of mis-matches this week, but some gems none-the-less.

No. 1 Alabama at No. 19 South Carolina

SC finally lost last week, but they look to bounce back against the best team in the nation. However, Alabama does not look to be super dominant, as they needed some good defense to shew away Arkansas. SC brings a nasty D, but the game will come down to Garcia and his decision making.

No. 11 Arkansas vs. Texas A&M

College Station is always a tough place to play. Add that to SR QB Johnson, and Mallett & Co. may be in trouble. This could end up being a shoot out, with both offenses able to score some points. This game is being played in Arlington.

No. 17 Michigan State at No. 18 Michigan

Its been awhile since both teams were ranked when playing each other, and each team is looking to build on that. UM has one of the most exciting players in CFB in Robinson. MSU will combat with one of the best defensive players in the country in LB Greg Jones, who is a monster of a man that loved to hit.

UCLA at California

Which UCLA will show up? Which Cal will show up? Both teams seem to inconsistant to say the least. UCLA allowed a very bad WSU team to stick around last week, while Cal seems to blow out small school teams, but disappear when its time to play their peers. Riley looks both good and bad this year, and he needs to show up in order for this team to win. UCLA seems to have found a running game, but how long can they do that in the Pac-10 where passing seems to win games?

Oregon State at No. 9 Arizona

This is right about the time that OSU begins to play their best football, and they are going to need to if they want to knock off UA at home. Foles is one of the most underrated QB's in the nation, and he will have to face Paea, a DT that seems to fly under the radar himself. James Rodgers is out, so Katz will have to find another target to help him out in jams.

No. 10 Utah at Iowa State

ISU is 3-2. For those that arent aware...that's GOOD. ISU has been a bad football team for a long time. This year, they have some life. Robinson is rushing well, and the defense is picking up the pace to help the offense out. Utah seems to always be a solid team and the dual-QB system of Cain and Wynn seems to working wonders. Can ISU stop one or both of these guys? They are going to have to be on their toes and make sure they have the right personal on the field at the right time.

No. 12 LSU at No. 14 Florida

Both of these teams are overrated, but only one of them can lose this game. Florida's offense seems to be stuck in 3rd gear, while LSU has gotten a bit lucky so far this year.

USC at No. 16 Stanford

USC has had some defensive troubles this year, and they finally caught up to them against UW last week. Stanford got stonewalled i the 2nd half in Eugene, and the defense got shredded by the Quack Attack. Bradford wont have the same holes he had against UW, as Stanford is much more physical up front.

LAME DUCK GAME OF THE WEEK

New Mexico at New Mexico State

Why is this here? Both of these teams stink. Bad. Finally one of them will win. Sometimes these games are fun just because each is so terrible that they finally get an even playing field to show their talent. Pun intended.

GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 23 Florida State at No. 13 Miami (FL)

This is one of the best rivalries in all of CFB, and its even better when both teams are ranked. Its even BETTER when they are both in the same conference, with this game possibly being a preview of the ACCCG. Both Ponder and Harris came into this season with high expectations, and both have had their ups and down so far. Ponder has looked lost at times, and Harris seems to be making some of the same mistakes he did last year. FSU's defense has found its legs since the Oklahoma debacle, and Miami is always stout on that side of the ball. Will it be another nail biter, with a possible FG ending again?

Edit: Nevermind

EUGENE -- Negotiations that went on throughout the week between Oregon, Washington State, the Pacific-10 Conference and Fox SportsNet produced a deal late Thursday afternoon that will allow the Oregon-Washington State game to be televised live on Comcast SportsNet.

The game can be seen in Oregon and parts of Southwest Washington that are included in the Portland metropolitan area.

The game had been blacked out because it would intrude on the 4 p.m. television window, already occupied by the Oregon State-Arizona game (Versus).

Discussions had included moving the game forward to noon. WSU had been reluctant to do that because this is the Cougars' homecoming.

To move it, WSU had requested approximately $100,000 from Oregon to make up for lost revenue.

The deal that was hammered out Thursday allows the game to be played as scheduled, and Oregon will not have to pay WSU for the privilege.

WHAT,NO SDSU AT BYU? YEAH I SAID IT! LOL
BYU is a mess right now. They lost half of their QB tandem and just fired their DC. SDSU should play them fairly well.

Im also looking forward to see how Fresno st plays against an improved Hawaii. Im a little worried about Fresno's injuries but hopefully Colburn can pull this one off
FSU is always one of those teams that could be dangerous, or just roll over. Yo never know which team will show up from week-to-week.

NO Nevada Vs San Jose State!!!
Nevada should have little trouble with hapless SJSU.

damn South Carolinas receiver may have made catch of the year which might very well help pull the upset, a 1 handed catch and he was pass interfered, the corner was holding onto his jersey and shit and the receiver wasnt able to really jump to catch the ball.
