HAHAH I got a call today from a collections reps.

Whats funny to me is. I've worked in call centers. I know how they work and know how scripts and rapport and all that play into being succesfull. But I don't fal for the bullshit.

Dude calls me and asks if I can pay and I simply say no. He then asked if I would like to setup payment arrangments. I simply told him naw im coo. I told him I had to go and he was like " Ohh your going to watch baseball. I hear yah. Go yankees."

I then responded. "fuck the yankess" Get that east coast bullshit outta my ear and fuck off. He was like "ohh you must be a twins fan".

I was like man "twins?" "are you kidding me? I asked homie if he even looked at my account and realized I am in arizona. He says " yeha i looked at your account I see you have trouble with student loans". So I say "what student loans?" And he starts reading off my credit report then gets to the end of the bad accounts and stops.

SO I say "im still waiting to hear what student loans you say I have. He couldn't hahahahahahaha. There was like b of a and some other credit union shit and a cable bill lol.

Fucking phone reps are idiots. I know this from having worked at citicards as well as Intuit. These people think they are invincible on the phone. I know when I worked at these places I was regularly rude to customers and felt like I couldn't be touched at times.

But afterward I told him he should check his references before he opens his mouth and hung up.

Anyone got any outrageous stories. These people are hardcore abusive. It's gotta be borderline slander in some cases.

I think it's funny that they will degrade you and use abusive sarcasm, yet try to throw in rapport like asking if I was watching the baseball games?

C'mon. FUcking idiots. I bet we even got a few phone reps on the siccness.

Another good story was from human resources at Verizon.

Verizon employees may not accept gifts from customers.

An upset customer called back after being treated rudely. The customer asked for a supervisor and an address to send a gift to for recieveing good help. Well the customer send a basket of flowers to the employee and then drove to the verizon call center and waited for an employee to come out with flowers and fucking wooped her ass. lol

When I answer the phone I tell them "he's not in right now".... LMAO works every time..... they never ask who is this or anything, sometimes I answer it and tell them I am busy and hang up.... they shouldn't be calling me at work anyways... I closed my account, paid a lot of money that was agreed upon and now they want more money.... I say f*** them... one thing I learned never let them know you have money to pay, they will make any deal if they think your broke, but the moment they know you have money... no negotiations.

This dude called me about my student loans, sounded like he was from the south and he said his name was Mike Jones, lol, i thought that was hella funny for some reason. he was an idiot and was threating me and shit, i was like "do what yo gotta do MIKE JONNNEEESSS".

I work in collections working second placement wells fargo credit cards. People cash me out all day. I dont bother with people who play games and shit, eventually they will call me and play ball or they will have to learn their lessons the hard way.

I've been doing this shit for awhile, some folks have a knack for that shit and make good money. I know how to talk to people and persuade them to play ball and get their shit together.

Sure I gotta talk to like 50 people a day who act like idiots, there are people who will never volentarily pay anybody sucks for them. I wouldnt want hella muthafuckas calling my house, i bet they feel like straight losers.

and yes I was in collections a couple times once for a class i took and didnt pay cuz i left the country paid it. I also got a big ass medical bill from not having any medical insurance I paid out like 3500 bucks to settle it. I care about my credit, fuck being in collections thats shit is lame. My credit is hella good, I'm buying a house all by myself. Fat chance doing big moves if you got on paper that you can't pay your bills

i got a call from some collection agency this morning.....let it ring.....30 minutes same number.....let it ring 10 times....never answered both times....30 minutes same shit same response from me....muthafuckin shit be callin multiple times daily lol

I know plenty about credit. I worked for fucking citicards.

I cant pay any bills of mine right now because I got so behind that for me to catch up I would have to stop eating. And Im no good dead. Its a fucked up financial world out there.

there is no reason at all for a hospital to bill me 3 thousand bucks for some shit when they looked at my knee. How can I just come up with 3 grand overnight? fuck them.

I couldnt afford a house if I wanted and I would never finance a car. fuck that.

id rather spend thousands less on a used car.

i hate banks.

hospital bills will eat your ass alive its almost not even worth going unless you are really fucked up. I owe 3 grand from when my shoulder got fucked up and those fucks call me every damm day but aint getting shit from me so fuck them.

Nope, I've never been late on a credit card balance or even been charged interest in that case. If I buy it on the card I make sure I can pay for it in time.

On the other hand my roomate got fucked credit and some company called 5-6 times a day Mon-Fri until I got their number and started calling them and talking about random shit. I got the direct numbers of their managers offices too and would call and hang up or just start talking about random stuff that made no sense. I know they had caller ID because their boss called back once and told me to quit calling them. I said that I would when they did lol. I did that for like a week and then all of a sudden they quit calling altogether. It's been like 3 months now since I've seen their number on my caller ID.

If anyone wants to get their shit taken care of, holler at me I can give you tips on working a good deal.

when i'm calls I'm usually pretty courtious to people unless they automatically are assholes to me even still i try to diffuse that shit because angry people rarly pay unless you have them trapped in some kind of family fraud deal. Those are the best, they always pay and they pay big. i saw a chick get 40 grand off one account off one of those. Its almost always a shady woman scamming her husbund too.

the only payment i got that is on credit is my truck payment and that gets payed on time and usually $100 more....other then that i have a credit card i buy small items on no more then $$150 a month...my credit score is pretty low cuz of this but im a cash/debit type of person....

i dont like the thought of paying "way" more on credit because i want it now....id rather wait and get it at the price it should be

I bought some fits with my Macys Card and forgot to pay the bill.. some Indian dude called me askin me if I could pay it... I was just rude as fuck and told him I would pay it whenever I got around to it... he sounded hella scared and kept askin me if I knew the date I was gonna pay it... I told him when I felt like it and eventually just said ok thank you

that was about it though... I usually pay my bills on time
