Hello! :D

I used to be into record collecting, however hit hard times and had to miss out on it for a while. After that, I just kind of never gained the interest back. I still find records the most beautiful medium of music but with that being said, these just sit in their dust jackets. Some have never left, the majority of these came from a phase where I would dl the mp3s and buy the vinyl. Anyway, time to let them go.

I don't have much online feedback but I do have some here.

As of right now, I don't have paypal. Money order only.

Not looking to trade for any vinyl but would do so for Sed Non Satiata's 2010 release. I don't know what the fair value is on most of these so just make a reasonable offer. A lot of these are on color vinyl so if you want specifics please ask. I also can take pics if you would like.

Anyway:

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is the main appeal of vinyl? Do you guys keep them sealed or do you listen to them? Just curious. I've been tempted to buy some on a few different occasions, but I don't want to get into something that is gonna drain my bank account.

I've owned two pieces of vinyl in my life (for collective purposes only):

I sold them both a long time ago for around $50-$60 each to pay some bills. So I know it can get pretty expensive.

Well the main appeal is it's just nice to own. I rarely listen to vinyl. I typically would DL the mp3s and have the vinyl as support of the artist and to actual own the music on a physical medium.

However I also stopped buying CDs too.

Yea some vinyl can fetch a pretty penny. There is lots of stuff that is limited to 100 copies or less.
