i think its dope that clyde is comin into his own as a solo artist. he has a better shot to hit it big than alot of the other bay artists to get picked up by a major in the last couple years. he makes music that can APPEAL TO A MASS AUDIENCE! that is crucial right now since the bay is on the come up. one of the reasons that the bay is being black listed is because of certain artists are making music that just wont be taken serious by other regions. clyde may be the first artist among the new bay to really hit the mainstream and do number that are just plain good, instead of "good, for a bay artist"

Pete Rock doesn't smoke neither does he advocate smoking weed. My boy works for the production company started by Eddie F that does alot of production in the East Coast and I met Pete Rock a few times. I like Clyde's flow and music but I sincerely hope he doesn't resort to lying just to get more attention like they did wit the Nate Dogg track previously.
