i dont care if clyde was on there for 2 seconds or 2 hours. how many bay area rappers can say they been on trl? trust me, clyde was happy to be there. i dont know about anyone else on here, i'm just speakin for myself, but to see clyde carson rollin with someone like game is big. seein him on the couch, then in the SUV with game and at the hotel with game is a good look. there are tons of peeps who didnt know who he was, but i did and i'm proud of him. i hope for bigger and better things for him in the near future.

some of yal are slow learners, he got the opportunity to be introduced to people he would prolly wouldnt have met in such short time,he was seen with big name artist,and from my experience when oyu are just around somebody that is hot,its usually people around that are interested in what it is that you do,he could have possibly met alot of ppl that works behind the scenes of the music industry.he is also an artist ya kno,so networking with those artist up there gave him a higher chance of possibly working with them or who else knows what,im proud cuz thats big,i dont think anybody in their right mind would past up a networking opportunity like that in their life.the man is doing it

Don't talk to fast. Who would have thought that OUTKAST would put out an album with a movie and still only be at 360,000 units sold. You act like GAME can't be a Chingy or some shit. You have to think about all of the things he lost when all of that shit went down. I hope the best for Game, Carson and every other West Coast artist, but you don't know what the hell is going to happen.

Ima just lay it down for ya, whether he was on tv for 10seconds or more, he was at mtv for a long ass time. Clyde aint ganna waste any time with a aportunity like that. I allready know that nigga must have gotten other artist numbers so they can network. Dont get me wrong this nigga know alot of people in the music industry, from the rough rydaz to black wallstreet. East coast to west coast, and lets not forget abou the south. My whole money is on Clyde!!! And about the hyphy juice in time square, thats a big ass promotion for Clyde aswell since he is one of the creaters of HYPHY juice. Moe money for that nigga.

i hope you aint talkin to me cause i already stated that I want Clyde to blow. AND you do see other bay cats on t.v. that are actually PROMOTING THEIR NAME....the Pack(who I honestly don't like, but they are getting their name out there), Big Rich, Bailey, and Mistah FAB....all I was saying was that too many people were getting excited only because Clyde was on t.v. for 10 seconds, not because he was getting the chance to network.

i am starting to think that you think I am arguing just to argue, but I'm not. I'm gonna answer your question with a question.....HOW MANY BAY ARTISTS HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED ON TRL????? the answer is STILL ZERO!!!

I am just as happy as you to see Clyde rollin in the company of platinum selling artists. The only thing I was tryin to say is that being on t.v. did nothing for him....however, being in the building did. This thread was created to talk about him being on t.v., not him being AT MtV.

i wasnt arguin with you homie. you're one of the cats on here who i respect your opinion. i'm just puttin my 2 cents in on how i feel about the situation. i've been up in that building several times now whenever they have rob base come in to do interviews, so i know when i'm sittin there for 2 hours waitin on him, i meet hella mtv and vh1 execs who are in a position to help me. i know whenever i've been up there in those offices i come out with 3 or 4 numbers that are very helpful to me and my artists. i just used a number i got last month at vh1 to get me 6 tickets for this years VH1 HONORS, just like last year.
by the way, the guy on the couch with game and clyde was named AR. i know that because i was there networkin with him for over an hour yesterday. he's games friend since they were 3 years old and he heads promotions. i got his number, e-mail and the whole nine. i already hit him a few times and hes lettin me send him beats from my camp which i've been tryin to do for 2 years now. just like monte says, networking is everything. by the time i left AR, he knew my whole background and roster. he knew clyde and ya boy were the homies, he knew mike mosley had beats for game. now that clyde is rollin with game, i expect him to be networkin even harder than i do wherever he goes from now on.
