while were on tha whole subject of movin, iz oxnard a coo place to live, i mean i jus wanna kno if n e of yall kno cuz itz only a couple of hours away, n ive been really thinkin bout movin out there
MY COUSIN IS FROM THERE. HE SAYS IT'S A QUIET TOWN WITH NOT REALLY A LOT OF THINGS TO DO. IF THAT'S WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR, THEN U MIGHT WANT TO CHECK IT OUT. BUT FOR THE MOST PART, IT'S A KICK BACK TOWN. THEY GOT YOUR USUAL GANGS AND CRIME LIKE ANY CITY. WHEN MY COUSIN WANTS TO HAVE FUN AND PARTY, THEY USUALLY GO TO A NEARBY CITY OR TO L.A.

Get a roommate, its cheaper. I'm gonna get a 2 bedroom/2 bath apt in Linda Vista (down the 8 and up the 805) for $1100/month. You can probably swing something close to SDSU for that price. There's a whole section of student housing for rent in and around Moctezuma and El Cajon. Probably cheaper in La Mesa, east of State. Good luck.

Gotta quik question about the Mexican population out there, I know it's pretty big considering it's right near the fuckin border. But, what I wanna know is there HELLA BANDAS MUSIC going on over there? I fuckin' hate that shit. For most of my life I lived surrounded by Mexican immigrants playing that shit at full blast all day fuckin long, don't matter what time it was 1AM, 2AM, 3AM any day of the fuckin' week. I'm considering moving to LA MESA because it's pretty close to SDSU, tell me about the Mexican population over there? one more thing, just curious, any Nortenos in Dago? Also what's the Cambodian population down there? Also how hard is it to find an apartment in the summer time? around June or July? Sorry for all the fuckin questions but I gotta lot to ask.

here are some tips from mr. jetson mean mugg!
la mesa is an ok area. it ain't ghetto. i would say for what you lookin for you lookin to spend 850-1000 in rent, you just gotta look around...
I live in Chula Vista, which is about 25 miles south of sdsu. however i used to live in a 1 bedroom, 1 bath all utilities paid, incl cable, for $680 a month. it wasn't the ghetto but it sure as hell wasn't upper class! lol

you may need to get 2 jobs my friend in order to survive out here....
weather is nice, females are stuck up, if you broke lol
they have lots of latinos here mayne, its all love to me...banda music? ummm, you may here it once in ahwile, but i doubt in la mesa..maybe where i stay in chula vista..or even in san ysidro, which is 2 minutes from the border.....
lots to do out here man, we right next to the border, downtown is crackin if you go with the right people. you will enjoy yourself, just manage your money right and make sure you have a car, cuz the bus system sucks

GAT DAYM RAISAN I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU POST SINCE OG BAYRIDAZ!!! Good lookin' out fam, by the way the $680 you paid for wouldn't be in a place called encanto would it? Part of another house? I'm cool with latinos, I grew up with many latinos man, my whole elementary was Mexicans lol. But there's always some funk with them non-english speakin' mafuckas straight across the border, nothing but disrespect from them non-english speakin surenos yadadig? Due to uneducation and lack of diversity they grew up in...I was kinda hope the bus was cool but I guess not, gotta save up to get me a lil truck. I heard vehicles down in So. Cal are hella cheaper than in the bay area. Thanks again man, you may remember from the time you bought Coolio Da Unda Dog's cd's from me back at bayridaz when I need the funds for my prom lol.

its pretty expensive, the areas that you want to live in you could probably be paying over a grand a month easy(for one bedroom) the tax rate is a 7.75%-its going up in El Cajon to 8.25%-El Cajon is like 5 miles east of SDSU-gas is about $2.60 gal. for regular unleaded, but i guess its expensive everywhere. Shit it aint cheap living here, but then again i aint been to the bay so i couldnt compare prices and stuff
$2.60 a GALLON?!? Nigga please... where at? In san diego? Or half way to Arizona...

I moved to san diego and lived there from november 2003 to november 2004. Rent was $700 at my apt. Shit was coo, SD is tha spot, had to move becase i lost my job. PB is the shit, hella women everywhere in SD, not like the bay.

Downtown is the shit, the gaslamp. Everything is in SD, traffic aint bad at all, not like here.

GAS IS NOT $2.60 a gallon, i just went on vacation there 2 weeks ago for a week. Gas was the same as here. and no rent isnt 1000/mo if you look before you rent.

ITS NOT EXPENSIVE, i moved there because its a lot cheaper then the bay

OH YA AND la mesa IS the ghetto, dont let them get it twisted
i live in la mesa, in an apartemtn with two roomates. weve argued over this. i try to tell them its not ghetto here, but i guess if they see any mexicans or blacks (both white) - its ghetto. i tell them to travel a little more of san diego to know what a true ghetto is, but i think la mesa scares them enough
although i did get my car cd player and cds stolen here. thats how we get down here in la mesa
