FIRE MARE

FUCK CARLSON

FUCK DEION BRANCH

we lost all fucking momentum when they reversed the fumble in the red zone early on, it didnt help with a fucking kicker who cant hit the broad side of a barn and a TE that let the ball bounce off his hands fuckin 5 times or a lazy ass receiver with no ethic who doesnt even try and is injured 90% of the time

Fuck Carlson? How about fuck SENECA WALLACE. Anything past a 15-yard throw and he cant hit the side of a fuckin barn. Not to mention how many bone headed plays he made. Funny that Carlson is GREAT when Matt plays...but looks AWFUL with Seneca in there.

Passing game was the only positive note for Da Bears. I'm not sure if the O line was that bad or if Seattle really stepped it up after getting run on by Gore last week.

If I were Jay cutler, Id demand a trade.

The OC is still an iamanidiot, if I was Cutler I'd demand a trade unless they fired Ron Turner. Heck I might even ask to have McDaniels replace him at this point ...

at the end, was Lovie calling the plays on the TD drive?

you sir are absolutely correct

i dont have any animosity towards carlson... its just i think a coupel of the times seneca really needed him to catch the ball and he let it bounce off his hands, and you could see it in senecas face and it kinda took some steam out of him and made him frustrated... you could tell one or two times he was just like... .are u serious bro? no excuses though, seneca needed to step the fuck up and make it happen. his int was terrible, and he made a couple of terrible decisions to throw that could have easily turned into more int. but you're absolutely right, i shouldnt be blaming carlson, it was seneca who made some horrendous sloppy throws whenever the D got in his face and got him backpedaling....

but Branch seriously needs to step it up, in my opinion he should be having 100 yd games but never does. i dont know why im frustrated at branch so much, dude might not even be doing anytihng wrong he just pisses me the fuck off whenever i see him get a lousy 2 yd catch when he could have got more or he just doesnt seem to try hard enough to get open. i want to see him earn his overly inflated paycheck or let someone else in there who will

no excuses for mare. i count those misses he had during exhibition, to me hes missed enough field goals to warrant no more chances

carlson did have an awesome game, you cant hold a couple missed opportunities against a guy who got 10+ catches and a 100+ yds. my frustration was simply misdirected, he played excellent. julius jones was looking stellar, burleson and housh as well.

this is such a frustrating loss that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth..... these injuries have got to go away, or its going to be another long painful year

I thought seneca had a great game for the most part. He made a couple of dumb mistakes but he was pretty accurate most of the time and he did an excellent job avoiding the QB rush and making plays and driving the ball down the field (the kicker is more to blame than anything). Chicago blitzed like every play and there were guys in his face constantly and yet he still moved around and made plays. Matt would have had a hard game if he was in and probably would have been sacked 4-5 times, imo.

yeah and this is why i was mad at carlson originally, its like seneca peels away from this insane menacing rusher trying to paralyze him and outruns another guy trying to sack him and makes a crazy but effective throw then... BOUNCE off carlsons hands.. fuck i really think one of those times it killed seneca inside and may have killed the game. you really cant say anything that absurd though. seneca could have been a little more polished though. there was a couple of badly timed throws and some flatout horrible decisions to throw. also some high passes off of his back foot, which can be credited to the bears defense. its high time he made himself known as the quarterback, and not just the guy who is filling in for hasselbeck. id like to be more confident in seneca, because i really do like him. i even wished him to be the successor for hasselbeck, but you could wish in one hand...

this must have been an exceptionally odd game for you to watch sixx

yeah it's always tough watching sea vs chi. While I wanted chicago to win, I wanted seattle to play good, especially seneca and jones. It's kind of weird, emotional ride.

but in the end I'm going for the bears of course.

There are rare occasions though when I would go for seattle, for example if chicago is having a horrible year and seattle is doing good. In this case, I just think seattle has too many injuries to overcome and chicago has a better shot at the playoffs than seattle does.

I don't know what the hell is going on with seattle, does anyone know if Mora brought in new fitness personal or is it the same as Holmgren? It seems seattle has had more injuries the last three years than any other team, it's so strange and it's getting to the point where I question if it's just bad luck or if there is something else going on.

dunno man, but a lot of ppl fall apart after stopping the use of certain performance enhancers. what do i know though. maybe its because we seem to be undersized and ppl just love to try and beat the shit out of us

or we could blame it on the madden curse that got alexander, maybe it got us all. lol

Mental errors and Mare's two missed FG's is why I think the Seahawks lost, and of course lack of experience on both sides of the ball. The Hawks really need all of their starters back. I hate it when the Hawks lose a close game, especially a game like this. I am more pissed at Housh than Branch, though. Housh and Mare are on my shit list right now. But Burleson did good, glad he got a 100 yard game.

Then we must have been watching two different games. Sure, Seneca made some throws he is SUPPOSED to make, there were a number of overthrown passes, really stupid mistakes, and flat out head scratchers (why run for a 3-yard loss when you can just throw the fuckin ball away?). That INT he threw out of the endzone made me nearly throw the remote.

Jim Mora isn't very happy with Olindo Mare
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on September 27, 2009 8:54 PM ET
Olindo Mare may not be a kicker for the Seattle Seahawks for much longer after the team's 25-19 loss to Bears Sunday.

As a going away present, Seahawks coach Jim Mora threw him under a bus during his post-game press conference. Then put in reverse. Then honked so everyone was paying attention.

As detailed by the Seattle Times, Mora talked at length about Mare's two missed field goals Sunday, which came from 43 and 34 yards.

"There's no excuses for those. If you're a kicker in the National Football League you should make those kicks -- bottom line. End of story. Period. No excuses. No wind, doesn't matter. You've gotta makes those kicks," Mora said, just warming up.

"Especially in a game like this, where you're kicking and fighting and scratching your tail off and you miss those kicks, it's not acceptable. Not acceptable. Absolutely not acceptable."

Mora's final comments on Mare made it sound like the team will look for new options shortly.

"We're not going to fight our ass off, and have a field goal kicker go out there and miss two field goals and lose a game. It's not going to happen."

In Mare's defense, the man did hit four field goals Sunday.

In Mora's defense, the coach also pointed the finger at himself for the loss.

The kicker is always an easy scapegoat, but that doesn't make it a fair assessment. The Seahawks played well as a team despite many injuries, but their offense stalled in the red zone twice and they only averaged 5.3 yards per pass play.

There are many aspects of the game that one can point to in an evenly matched football game like Seahawks-Bears; Mora just picked the easiest target.

Mora is a douche bag. No one is gonna want to play for him if he does this type of shit. And Mare still hit 4 field goals

I agree with Mora completely. If you're a vet like Mare, there should be no reason to miss two gimme's like that. He had a good snap, there was no wind, he had made a 46 yarder earlier before his missed 43 yarder, and than missed a 34 yarder. That shit just isn't acceptable. The Hawks need to keep Mare, though. He's got a leg for kickoffs, whereas Coutu doesn't. So if the Hawks want to have two kickers again, they'll have to free up a roster spot to bring in Coutu. Just keep Mare for kickoffs and use Coutu for FGs.

edit: I think the Hawks still have Coutu on PS. Im not sure.
