We are really banged up on both sides of the ball. Special teams or defense needs a score this week. We need Jano to kick it out of the endzone and Lechler to punt it out of bounds. Do not give Hester and touches on special teams. Just Win Baby!

Just like many other games this season, if the Raiders can contain the run, be it from a back or the qb, and not kill themselves with penalties, then they should be able to win. But thats the big one, IMO, is the penalties. Its gonna be impossible to turn that corner to becoming a good, respectable team if they are still getting a dozen+ flags a game.

Hopefully he's good to go, we need a speedy deep threat out there

when we stop rb's from going insane, we win. they'll need to get to about 150 rushing to beat us. our D hasn't been as bad against the run as they seem, the bad games were just so bad that it makes it seem like we've been horrible every game.

@houston foster 68 yards 3.1 ypc. total rushing yards 70

vs browns hardesty 35 yards 3.2 ypc. total rushing yards 65

vs chiefs battle 76 yards 4.8 ypc, mccluster 38. total yards 139 3.6 ypc.
chiefs were able to keep running the ball even though they weren't getting much, because our offense threw 6 picks. defense played good, but our offense posed no threat and made it easy for kc to keep running.

vs broncos mcgahee 163 yards 8.2 ypc, tebow 118. total rushing yards 299

@ san diego tolbert 36, mathews 34. total rushing yards 75

@minnesota peterson 26 yards 4.3, ponder 71. total yards rushing 124

5 good to great games against the run and 5 bad to horrible games. inconsistent, but better than what we've had in recent years. if it wasn't for ponder's mobility, that was going to be another good game against the run.

I think the D can hold forte under 100 yards rushing. the thing is, is that he can kill you in the passing game too. you know hanie is going to be looking for him all day for little dumpoffs and screens. good chance forte gets around 100 yards receiving.

taiwan hasn't practiced all week. the new guy mccan is most likely going to do kickoffs and punt returns. he did good with the kickoffs in the vikings game.

We need big games from myers, boss and reece if our run game never gets up and goin. Those penalties do cost us and I don't see those stopping anytime soon. I see us jumping ahead as we tend to do so easily and have the game slip past us yet again in the 2nd half but with worst results.

if the bear defense creates turn overs and stop the run, and if devin hester gets off on special teams, it's gonna be a long day for the raiders. but raiders with the win imo.
