Chargers won't blow Chicago out, they very well might win, but two solid D's will keep both teams in the game, don't underestimate that killer bears D they got, Bears win 17-13. Remember that the Bears had the #1 re zone D last year, and eeryone from Chi-town's D returns, barring injury, this will be a highly contested battle between two top D's.
san diego is taking that game, my prediction...28-14.
the bears have to count for tomlinson and gates...plus they finally got a threat at wide receiver with davis from lsu.
the bears' best weapon on offense this year will be hester, depending on how well they use him. benson is a pretty good running back, but he hasn't proven that he can carry the ball 25-30 times on a regular basis.
edit: i don't know where eric weddle is on the depth chart for the chargers...but i think he can come in and help out the secondary, at both cornerback and safety. i think he'd have more of an impact at safety.

Don't underestimate the Bears running game, sure Benson isn't proven, but with O.Kruetz running that line and R.Brown, the Bears can run on anybody. As for LT, yeah we're going to have to count for him and Gates, but we have the players to do so, we have some of the best linebackers in the game, this game will be close, and if SD needs a FG at the end of the game to win or tie from N.Keading, THAT'S SCARY.
nate keading is a pro bowler, does he miss some? sure who doesnt...and im not underestimating the bears running game, i just know what our run defense can do. Offensivley we'll give many different looks its not all about lt and gates anymore. With that said, i do think the bears d can do a good job of confusing rivers, if this does happen it will be a long day for us.
He is a Pro Bowler, but just like Grossman can choke when it counts, it seems like Keading has done it a few times himself, I like the Chargers as a team, but like you know what your squad can do, I know what mine can do, I just feel like it will be a highly contested game. We'll see who comes out with bragging rights.
