Yea the album is absolutly souless, some of the music is hard to sit through, in my opinion Mike Jones put together a better more consistant album than Cham, and Mike Jones has about 10% the lyrical ability, it shows me how important beat and song choices are, there are plenty of great rappers who are clueless at picking beats and songs from producers
Sorry Chams album is better then Paul Walls but Mike Jones album is better even though obviously Cham is a way better rapper, Cham probably wanted to put out a album for the females and the streets combined and thats not that easy to do, but in the end Cham is better then Mike Jones and Paul Wall put together.
I did soak it up weeks ago so chillout. Like I said I heard Chams album way before any of yall due to my nigga getting the hook up at Universal. I had it before any of yall shit I'm the one who hooked most of yall up with it in the first place god dammit so don't forget that.
The album is alright nothing to brag about shit is old to me now. I also bought a copy to support him. You can't make somebody change they honest opinion about a artist just bc they not riding your idols sack.
dude has no personality or charisma in his flow, he sounds like a robot designed to spit lyrics. It takes alot more than that to make a hot album. Definitely didnt have a grimey TX feel to it either. I think thats what made him and paul wall work together well. Cham always had the lyrics but sounded boring, Pauls lyrics werent as good but he would say some funny shit and just brought a personality to them CCC tapes.
