Today I was in the MIL interviewing for a job, got done early and went up to the Milwaukee Mall on North Ave hoping that they'd have some little Mom & Pops store posted up selling some local stuff. They didn't, and the people I talked to in the building kind of laughed at me saying there's no talent up in Milwaukee, that I needed to go to a coast.
What I'd be looking for is anything produced by Big Hank, that guy defines the Milwaukee sound to me. I got all the Coo Coo Cal & Baby Drew stuff, I also got a Country Boy Clique and Mr. Do It To Death album that's got some Big Hank stuff on there. Is there anything else by Hank that I'd be missing??? Seemed like the guy kind of fell off the map, but I think he makes some really great beats.
