Ive been in one. It was actually pretty quiet,
but it was also the middle of the night, and there were two sides to it.
The "kinda cooky/needs someone to talk to", and the "too far gone."
Also the hospitals on this coast seem a lot more... progressive? than the old school/been around forever ones on the East side.

i work with people with disabiltiys and part of our training was to learn about old school "crazy hospitals"....real talk you couldnt tell the diffrence between a jew camp and these hospitals.....people extremly mal-nourished, beatings/rapes...death...
when we start seeing people with disabiltys as PEOPLE FIRST.....then we will get into gear......if there considered less it will always be the same
