That's not entirely true. If you're Lil' Boosie, yes, I can see that statement holding water. 9 times out of 10 people won't know what's under the hood or in the trunk unless you're flexing around town and parading your shit like it's the last of it's kind. Otherwise, you can curtail that by installing a real security system (not just beeps and sirens) and ride clean through town. My system rattles the block, but I still manage to roll through big towns and I don't get jacked. And that's thanks only to me for not turning my shit up around thousands of folks.

Granted that won't stop you from getting stole on, but it drastically reduces your chance of getting your car broke into.

I paid $35g's for it, thats Canadian dollars. They retail for about $29-30 US though. Mine came fully loaded with aero kit, 6cd in dash changer, heated seats.
Performance is way more important than looks, IMO. I mean the car still has to look clean but id rather add performance mods and keep the car looking stock than to add some gay ass body kit and rims and stickers. I want to put 18's on it but im looking for something lightweight. A 4-5 pound weight savings per wheel is comparable to knocking 150 pounds of weight off the car. It makes a big difference in performance. The Stage 2 upgrade is the shit though, it costs about $2g's and adds about 60 HP and TQ. The car is already fast stock so the difference will be crazy...
