Yeah but Canelo is a boxer-puncher, you saw against Trout he's good at keeping a distance and waits to counter or set something up so even he gasses early he'll end up staying at a fairly safe distance and Floyd will pot shot, land some nice shots here and there but not a high paced fight by either guy. Unless Canelo gets hurt bad then I could see Floyd turning on the heat.

We'll see what Canelos gameplan is, he said "forget the head I'm going to kill Floyd's body) so if he really wants to do that he's going to have to put pressure and stay close but like air said he's more of a boxer-puncher.

What's funny is that Floyds fans are so blind to realize that if Floyd is a champ at 154, then why not defend at 154? Even us "Floyd Haters " are going by what Floyd says and they still can't agree with us

Let him fight at 152, it is what it is. Yet to proclaim how brave and throwback Floyd was for fighting in the correct divisions, even Floyd himself talking about wanting to beat Cotto at Cotto's weight, only to come and ask for a catch with Canelo is completely hypocritical. At least tell it like it is, rather than trying to justify it.

Asking for 2 pounds 3-4 months out is nothing anyways. It's just his way of trying to hold the cards and apparently Canelo didn't care. He can safely drop 2 pounds no problem. He has until September. His heart will adjust in 4-6 weeks.
