That's a good win for canelo. Don't see him going toward ggg after this, he probably take Bradley up on a fight. Ggg not getting canelo yet. Hope he gets that belt though and moves on leaving canelo behind.

I didn't expect a war. Canelo is a boxer puncher who is always content not to press the action against boxers who use movement (Trout, Lara, Floyd) and I figured Cotto's game plan would be to move around a lot and box, never staying inside for too long, which is pretty much what he did all fight.
I know this has been working for Canelo since he's winning but I think he needs a new trainer to make him more of a seek and destroy type fighter, which I think better fits his physical attributes, more so than being a boxer puncher. All of those fights were really close despite the scorecards, with exception to Floyd who won every second of the 12 rounds.
