Yeah, I never really got into any deep conversations with anybody in Van., but what I did notice was that most everyone was so freakin nice, you know what I'm sayin? Ask someone for directions and they'd end up walkin me 8 blocks just to show me where it's at. I never seen anything like it. I bought bud off of perfectly random people who I never met in my life and they always hooked it up, never felt uncomfortable or anything. Just a nice city.
YO NEFAR!? What the fuck is up with comandante? I want that shit completely transfered on my computer by the time I get off work. Don't fuck around.
Yeah man, people are nicer here! I mean out in White Center, you would be lucky not to get shanked if you asked a person for directions and mistook you with a wrong look! Even though I think some spots of Van are just complete BULLSHIT, some areas are ok.
I think the reason for more general niceness is the fact that the way they have allocated the space of it's inhabitants. It's well spread out like the Bay Area so everyone has their own space. Seattle however, everyone is concentrated in specific areas (mainly within and closely around the city limits), and is a rural area just outside the limits of the city. Like you take a 20 minute drive out of Seattle and you're already in the woods, where here in Van you drive for 20 mins and you're still in the city area!
A lot of people here are sheltered though. They either have no idea, or very distorted ideas on how gangsta life and hustler life in the US is in general. And you have these fucking posers here running around in their little Hondas acting like hot shit and bumping their commmercial rap cds thinking they are thugs. There's a huge area here that has the mentality of people living in Bellevue (hell half of the people here act like those snob suckaz in Bellevue). That is what pisses me off since these folk here don't know how to handle it when they cross the border or how to handle people in Seatle in general.
