Man thats wassup, I ain't never heard of Young Jay but i clicked n supported cuz he's right, it will open up more doors and you know people will start lookin to this region to find their "next big artist". Whatever happened to the "Reigncraft" comps? I had 2 of em and i was diggin the whole concept but that was years ago and haven't heard of anything new? We need something like that statewide and have the real grinders out there pushin it WITH their cds and at shows.

There's always talk bout unifyin the NW but i never see it and i want to see it so yall can count me in on whatever it is yall wanna do.

LETS PUT THE NORTHWEST ON THE MAP LIKE LEWIS AND CLARK DID.

Fuck supporting a cat just cuz they from the NW. We need to support cats who are proven on the mic, in the streets and have a solid professional track record. Niggaz like Mr. D.O.G., Cool Nutz, Skunt, Twin G, Gangsta Nutt and myself Cin'atra.

Rappers need to stop actting like rappers. And start actting like business men.

Here is a question, Why is it so hard to get ahold of record labels?

I know the answer, does anyone else?

First because these are the cats really making shit happen, that's why! And most of the new generation of NW rappers are fucking lazy and want somebody to do the work for them.

2nd what's lame is muthaphukaz mentioning their friends when it comes to who is the hottest NW rappers. That's lame!

And I didn't ask you how you felt about record labels. But you addressing me with "Fuck A Record Label". Now before I jump the gun, let me ask you. Was that meant to be disrespectful towards me?

Naw man, I wasn't disrespecting you at all. I'm not the type of dude to come on a website like this to talk shit. I got better things to do. I just personally would like to say fuck a record label. lol.
To answer your question, my guess is that the labels are tired of so many garbage artists/bands trying to get a hold of them all the time...

And I wasn't talkin shit about the artists mentioned either, the ones I've heard that you did list, I think are dope, and got respect for..
I just think there needs to be some new names brought up when we talk about who's doing thing, but I guess that's the artists fault.

Thank you for clarifying. I didn't want to assume anything cuz we usually cool when we chop it up on the siccness.

Labels aren't interested in artists at all. They don't respect the artist whatsoever. They want to do business with the person who controls the artist. Those are the people they are interested in talking to.

Unfortunately there is only a handful of artists that are really doing it. I have to give major respect to Mr. D.O.G. This dude is 100% about business and conducts his self like a true business man. He's professional and on top of his game. There is a reason why you keep hearing Mr. D.O.G. and Cool Nutz names pop up. Nowadays artists have to be more than artists. You have to be young CEOs.

There aren't a lot of NW artists that got their business game up. This cat who is apart of Interscope told me. Don't do anymore albums, focus on your business.

PEACE & BLESSINGS
