I posted this in the flows forum but I can't find it now. I wanted to post it here because this is the only forum i post in and know the members here (a little  )
please let me know what you think of this, it's stuff questioning religion which I can't get my head around sometimes

Conjecture I

What's the fifth dimension, the three-hundred and sixty-first degree?/
Why are we born just to die, and follow laws an invisible god decree?/
The universe stretches to the infinite, a concept so intricate/
But then God cannot be separate, he must be within it/
How can something be outside when there is none?/
The universe stretches forever, the mere concept will stun/
Thus God must be within our in own universe, but what's the location?/
And how can something outside of time, create through prayer, vocation?/
If God is not only beyond the 3rd, but 4th dimension/
When we pray, what could possibly be our intention?/
Communication is not possible with something outside time/
Unification must be rhetorical when trying to speak to the divine/
Watch, children, as God makes a 4-sided triangle/
Logically not viable, so can the Lord be liable?/
Fiction and contradiction fill the pages of the bible/
A simple single prayer means the survival of our rivals?/
Can I cure the visually impaired, or make blue become red?/
Could we defy gravity instead and watch as we fly overhead?/
In an infinite universe, how can logic be limiting?/
Try walking the plank which religion is pivoting/
God claims omniscience, yet he can change his mind/
A contradiction in terms, I think that you will find/
And why didn't he know the serpent would trick Adam & Eve?/
Why did he warn them not to eat, if he knew they'd take from the tree?/
If God defies logic, ask him the square root of minus 1/
Complex numbers aside, literally there isn't one/

Conjecture II

Burning in the sulphur pits of hell, torture intrinsical/
But how is this possible if the afterlife isn't physical?/
If God created the universe, who created God?/
The answer, God has always been, has he not?/
If he created the universe around him billions of years ago, suceeding/
What was aside from him for the infinite years that were preceding?/
And how can something come from nothing?/
The universe must've come from something/
The Big Bang - even if God created this, what created him?/
Who created God's creator? And why did God create sin?/
If God is everlasting, there's only one possibility/
That time is circular, rotating perpetually and infinitely/
The Big Bang followed by the Big Crunch, then an exact repeat/
Doomed to live your life over and over with a lack of deplete/
Could this explain Deja Vu? When the past comes into view/
Or the future comes to you, to the mistery it's one more clue/
The past will happen again, and the future you've already seen/
Because the future's already happened, the past is yet to be/
Therefore God is no longer needed/
The universe need's not be leaded/
As past is everlasting, then what's happened has happened/
The past can't be changed so God's work's done, I'm saddened/
The next infinite years have already been dictated/
What's going to happen will happen, God cannot change it/
As soon as he interferes, the circle is broken/
Time will find itself, through contradiction self-imploding/
Thus either God isn't omnipotent, or he was never needed/
And all of a sudden, the whole premise of religion is heeded/
The religious communities, claim immunity but in actuality have punity/
Truthfully, it's unity, but you will see what the truth will be/
These religions are blinded by their own devotion/
By how can God be perfect when he feels emotion?/

I know it's complicated but it all means something....and I don't wanna sound anti-religious. I'm just questioning the shit we hear about thru religion.

Please drop thoughts.

not to knock you too much, you had good rhymes and all, but i think you have no idea what you are talking about. i don't know which bible you are reading, but it doesn't contradict itself, not once, show me where it does if you think so. and God gave us free will, to see if we would come back to him. eve made the choice herself and gave into temptation. she gave into satan even after God warned them both. God has a plan for all of us, but it is your decision to make on whether or not you will serve the Lord in heaven, or reign in hell. not to start a holy war but i think you need to study up and not only read the bible for face value because it is deeper than that. alot deeper. got writing though, i don't agree with what you are saying, but you got some talent there

OK man, the feedback is appreciated. But what you quoted is part of a contradicton itself - if God is omniscient, why did he warn Adam and Eve not to take the fruit off his tree and then act all angry when they did? Surely he'd've known they would.

God also changes his mind in the bible, not a quality of an omniscient or perfect being.

FREEWILL, like i said, you can do what you please. they had no reason to do what they did at all. he gave them the warning, but the choice to do as they please. he did not set them up, he did not make them do anything. you can change the future for yourself. God has a plan for you, if you don't choose to follow it, that is on you. satan can't make you do anything, he can tempt you. God can make you do whatever, but he doesn't. what would be the point? we would be puppets. you have the choice to do as you please, just because God has a plan, doesn't mean it will be carried out. the Lord could end the world today, so could george bush. the Lord would not stop that as he says, don't test me in the bible. God does change his mind, as things change themselves on earth. how do you expect someone to not ever change their mind, it is not like the Lord changes his mind for the worse or ever stops loving those who serve him, ever

Homie I think you're ducking the point - I'm saying that if God is omniscient (all knowing) like the bible claimed, surely he knew Adam and Eve would take from the tree? Why would he be angry if he knew it was coming? The bible also says that God sometimes regrets making man.......an omniscient being would know before hand whether it was a good thing to do or not.

I'm trying to argue from a neutral point of view.....I'm undecided on my religion. I think there's so many reasons against certain God's, but there has to be something out there. I pray regularly so you could even say I'm a religious guy.

All love, a debate is cool....I don't want this to turn into an argument.

if its one thing i have learned, it is to not argue about religion. i don't know everything there is to know about the bible, because there is alot to learn, or memorize even. i know this will go on forvever because that's what they have been fighting over for hundreds of years in the middle east. i am sure someone else will jump in and argue with you and me or both, but i am done

I TRY TO LOOK AT RELIGION IN A DIFFRENT POINT VEIW. I LOOK HOW EACH RELIGION RELATES TO EACH OTHER. THEY ALL HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON. FROM CATHOLICS, CHRISTIAN DENOM., HINDUS, MUSLIMS, BUDDHIST, WHATEVER IT MADE SOME PERSON OR IN CASE OF THE CATOHOLICS GOD AS MAN, MOHAMMED TO THE MUSLIMS, BUDDHA TO THE BUDDIST FEEL A STATE OF GRACE OR BE CONTENT WITH LIFE. TO ME RELIGION IS A TOOL TO GET TO THAT POINT. NOT ONE RELIGION CAN BE RIGHT WITH SO MANY PEOPLE FOLLOWING DIFFRENT ONES. SO IF THE BIBLE IS A BOOK OF STORIES OR A BOOK OF EVENTS AND PROPHECIES I DON'T KNOW BUT I DO KNOW STUFF THAT HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED HAS BEEN IN THE BIBLE. DON'T ASK ME WHAT CUZ THEN I HAVE TO WATCH OLD TAPES OF THE DISCOVERY CHANEL. I DO KNOW THAT THE BIBLE WAS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN BY MANY DIFFRENT PEOPLE IN MANY DIFFRENT LANGUAGES MAINLY HEBREW FOR THE OLD TESTAMENT AND TRANSLATION TO ENGLISH MAKES THE BIBLE LOSE MEANING SHIT TRANSLATION FROM SPANISH TO ENGLISH MAKES WORDS LOSE MEANING SO AN ANCIENT LANGUAGE I BET WHOLE STORIES AND CONCEPTS ARE LOST. I PROBLY SAID 4 MUCH BUT HOLLA BACK WITH THOUGHTS AND IDEAS LATE-CHANGO

that is a major arguement fo alot of people that aren't devoted to one religion. it ain't even the words is the bible all that much, it is the relationship with God. however, those words in the bible can mean so much with only saying a little bit. that's how you can have church for hundreds of years and never use the same line twice, or if you want, you could use the same line 50 times and make it mean something completely different. the main thing is, is regardless of who wrote it, or who translates it, it is still God speaking to you if you truly believe. if you only half heartedly believe, than you will only get half hearted results. it's kinda like you get what you put in, but you get alot more in return in this case. another thing is with tithes. some people don't pay tithes, which is money to the church. it says to pay ten percent and you will be blessed a hundred times, it is not always monetarily though. me pesonally, i give more than ten percent. that is just me. but you get what you put into it. at the first for any believer, you have to open your heart to God i believe. invite him into your heart and go from there. if the Lord isn't truly in your heart, it will be so much easier to turn your back on him. Let him be your guide and watch things fall into place, there is so much more out there for all of us, beyond this world. I pray for all of us. stay up

yeah, they are all based more or less on the same thing. alot of people don't like jewish people because they believe that Jesus was not the messiah. they think he was no more special than john the baptist, when he was sent for the jews, they were his chosen religion and they ended up killing him. i can understand why people have such a hatred even though i don't hate em. and look at our constitution. it mentions so many things that are either God, or like the bible. and i think that is the only reason our country is so strong.

yup, you can have ten different people read the same passages and come out with different points of view. i mean shit the muslim god, the christian god, and the jewish god is the same god yet all these different people hate each other. even more look at how christians amoungst themselves differ (catholics and protestants)

that just reminds me of everytime im watching boxing on PPV or HBO and they got that shitty translator who doesnt know what the hell he is talking about sometimes i wish they had an option (like SAP) where you could just mute his ass and listen to the trainers talking spanish themselves
