Everything is too expensive in the city. My dad and uncle restored a house off of 3rd and Quesata in Hp, and lost their ass on it cause it couldn't sell at the market rate. Pacifica is cheaper for the most part.

I listen to Cane's music, started with those free mix tapes they had going. Those dudes have a different style than people from hp/Fillmore or whatever. I've never once heard them pretending to be from a ghetto. I'm thinking this hatred is coming because one of those cats fucked his girl or something.

Cane, who is that fool YB? I liked his style on the mix tapes, does he have any solo albums? Is he doing something new soon?

I have been wondering why black artists always explain that they are not really killing fools every day, and they'll be the first to tell you that part of rap is an image, and people never question them, and some fools think they are really out there 24/7 doing the shit they rap about. And when a white rapper doesn't even really say they are from the ghetto or that they they kill fools every day, people are like "Na ahh! You don't be murdering fools every day! You ain't even from the ghetto!"

Hey, any mods reading this, can you guys make an official poll thing in these circumstances where everyone is in agreement that someone is just plain hating? If enough people agree then you ban them, that way we can get rid of all the haters and more artists will come back. People like that don't add anything to this place, but they drive away people who do.

If somebody has the skill to rap, they can do it...if they have a story to tell you, they can do it...if they have people who like their shit, they can do it...and if they remain true to themselves, THEY CAN DO IT!! I've met some cats from the RICH PART of San Jose/Saratoga/Los Gatos that are hard as fuck, and I've met some cats from the ghetto that are square ass cats who wouldn't do shit. It isn't about where you're from, it's where your heart and mind is, and it's what you've been through.

To me it doesn't matter where a rapper comes from, it's how strong his heart is...if somebody is willing to actually DIE for what they believe in, that's a rider, that's a soldier, that's the muthafucka I would roll with, whether he was from Cupertino, or East Oakland!!
