if you are really interested in saving your tax dollars then you should demand that your government begin rehabilitating these inmates so that they don't return to prison.instead of being stuck in the current revolving door prison system.
but thats not what states want.the more convictions and inmates a state has,the more federal founding a state gets.thats your tax money.if our prisons were empty because of rehabilitation and education then our states wouldn't get that founding and the folks at the top wouldn't like that much.
