CA, OR, WA – Residents current or former

CA – are there any good cities in North Cali? Like North of the extended bay area up to the state line? Not small farmer towns and preferably on the western side. Some place NOT like Chico.

There's NOTHING near the state line. If you were going to do that, you might as well just cross the border into Ashland or Medford...border towns in Northern California are small as shit, and a few hours from Sacramento. Actually, now that a thing about it...a few hours from Chico as well.

If you want to be NORTH of the Bay Area, I can only recommend cities like Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, Fairfield...etc. etc. Passing Sac though would just put you in some podunk town with nothing to do.

Well I wouldn't be moving to any of these places without a job lined up already, but there are some internal availabilities - especially in WA that I'd consider.
