"So focused...."....and your point is what??? Part of the quality of an album overall is how it SOUNDS. Have not seen on here anyone saying C-Bo ain't spittin well.....but the cd would be more enjoyable overall for repeat listens if it were mastered better.

people are so focused on the beats and mixing/mastering (which yes could have been better), but C-Bo was spittin on this shit.

U sound pretty mad. And if u read and knew how to comprehend my post I did comment on how the mixing and mastering could have been better. And I don't need a tutorial on how an album should sound, so miss me with that shit.
I haven't seen a post commenting on his lyrics. That was my point. Take some deep breaths, it ain't that serious.

K @karomistar --------IMO ONLY 2 PPL ON THAT LIST HAVE THE LONGEVITY IN THE GAME BO HAS. I FEEL LIKE PPL LOOK 4 WHATS WRONG WITH AN ALBUM BEFORE THEY LOOK 4 WHATS RIGHT.....THAT THERE MAKES THEM A MORON...OR JUST STRAIGHT OUT NEGATIVE PERSON SO I CALL EM "RAP CRITICS". RAP CRITICS DONT USUALLY BUY ALBUMS ANYWAY. THEY JUST TALK SHIT. I STILL SAY IF U DONT LIKE SOMETHING JUST KEEP IT PUSHIN. WE NOW HAVE THE OPTION 2 BUY EXACTLY WHAT WE LIKE. SO IF U JUST TALKIN 2 TALK OR HATIN A GROWN MANS HUSTLE....YOUR OPINION IS NULL AND VOID 2 A REAL NIGGA ANYWAY. I WOULDNT SAY ORCA IS BO'S BEST ALBUM BUT IT DEFINITELY IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR HEARING HIM RAP ON BEATS PRODUCED ON THE WEST COAST. AND I DONT KNOW A RAPPER WITH A MORE SOLID RESUME AS A PERSON OR REAL G. MOB MUSIC ISNT MADE 4 WEENIES OR THE MASSES. WHEN PPL LET GO ALL OF THE EXPECTATIONS,ETC....MAYBE WE CAN SUPPORT EACH OTHER LIKE WE USED 2 AND MAKE THE WEST COAST A FACTOR IN THE INDUSTRY AGAIN. UNTIL THEN, IT IS WHAT IT IS......AND IT'S WCM ON MINE CUZZ.1

IF ANYBODY WANTS 2 DONATE MONEY TOWARDS MIXING AND MASTERING SO U CAN PERSONALLY ENJOY SOMEONES ALBUM BETTER....I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT THEY WOULD REJECT YOUR OFFER. IF NOT, KEEP DOIN WHAT U DOIN AND HOPE 4 THE BEST...LOL. #AND OH YEH.....FREE THE MOBFATHER!!!!!!

I thought it was better than the last one. I think Bo should have been hopped on the Mob Figaz sound 6-8 years ago. That's what the Mobb sound naturally evolved into and he put them on, so using their producers would have made sense.

^^^I AGREE ONE HUNDRED PERCENT

I KNOW BO IS HIS OWN MAN

BUT I THINK HE SHOULD REACH OUT TO THE FIGZ

THEY GOT THE PLUG ON PRODUCTION

AP AND BO WOULD BE GREAT

He could put out classic album

If he featured everyone he put on

One song w the jacka, one w killa tay, one w marvelous ect.

I disagree...

C-Bo needs his own sound. That Sacramento Gangsta shit.

This new album is a lot better than the Blackmarket one. Still a couple southern beats I wasn't feeling, but a lot better than Money 2 Burn as well! Hope he stays in Cali to make music when he gets out!

and we saw how well that went for bo during the last 10+ years.....
The mobfather was his last album with those beats. That was in 2003. After that his only solo was Money 2 Burn which was mostly Southern sounding beats. Moment Of Truth (2006) and In Thugz We Trust (2004) were both pretty good and they had them beats aswell...

I produced Gettin' to the money, Murder one, Killas like me, Orca, waitin on me, and Dramatic (deluxe bonus song). I don't who produced the rest. I guess the cd's pressed after 3000 copies will have production credits. As far as mixing, mastering, your right, it's rough, my songs are two track instrumentals. I guess there were time limitations on getting the album done, I offered to mix/master on protools-oh well :)

I did not have any expectations on this album so I did not get disappointed. Had a few good tracks but most is not even close to C-bo standard. I said it before that C-bo ALWAYS deliver but the beats are just boring and nothing stands out. C-bo used to have the hardest beats and even the Graphics, but now.. Im only gone buy a couple of track of iTunes.
..exactly!!!

much props to Bo and his effort, but this is how tru Sac shit should sound:
