LOLOLOLOL!!!!

I must be blind? Explain how it's taking advantage of 2pac. Nope, not to "gain pac fans". Wrong answer McFly! Try again.
exactly.

Pac dont need to gain fans he not only the top selling rap artist besides eminem but everyone knows who he is a respects his music. i got 10 and 12 year old cousins that bump all eyez on me & makaveli albums and say man pac was tight.

The entire purpose of Dre being there in the first place was to bring out the hologram. You're a stupid motherfucker to not see that. Knowing that, he was paid pretty much just to introduce the hologram. Then he even says there may be a tour with the hologram.

Saying rest in piece is a lot different then paying out of your own pocket to create a hologram of somoene to "pay tribute". He will get something in return and he knows that, hes a smart business man.

Just because a lot of people enjoyed it don't mean its okay, recognize that. And if anything, you're the one who is whining about all of my posts so I guess some people do need something to whine about.

Thats not true at all. If you knew anything you wouldve know dre was lined up for the concert way before the hologram and actually there was originally suppose to be a nate dogg hologram. The Pac hologram was announced at the last minute like a day or two before the concert.

some people on here are lame as fuck and love to talk down on mainstream artists no matter what. Dre dont need to make money off pac. dont forget he has the highest selling rap artists ever (eminem) on his label.

I bet Diddy Combs is plotting a "Life After Death" tour for Biggie as we speak......

The Fugees are gonna get back together, and tour with Bob Marley.....

Usher is gonna have a dance off with James Brown on his next tour.....

And Justin Timberlake is gonna have an Elvis cameo at his next show.....

Maybe Bobby Brown can even finally get to perform with Whitney......

Fuck it...... Dick Clark can still co-host New Year's Eve at Time's Square with Ryan Seacrest.....

Hell, bring Ed McMahon back to be a guest judge on American Idol.....

Suge Knight I'm NOT CONVINCED 2pac is Really Dead

There is a VERY good chance Tupac Shakur is alive and well ... and hiding ... this according to the man who was with him during the supposedly fatal shooting in Vegas, Suge Knight.

Knight just appeared on 93.5 KDay in L.A. with Tattoo and Cee Cee ... and pumped some major fuel into the biggest urban legend in hip hop ... that Tupac FAKED his own death.

Knight says his theory explains why cops never found his murderer -- because there was no murder.

"Maybe the question is ... Pac's not really dead ... pac's somewhere else," Knight says.

When asked if he ever saw Tupac's body following the 1996 shooting, he adds, "Nobody seen Tupac dead. "

Knight explains, "The person who supposedly cremated Tupac ... this guy got about 3 million dollars .. personally from me ... cash ... and next thing I know I never heard from the guy or seen him again ... he retired and left."

What do people really mean when they say "let him rest in peace"?

Do you mean stop fuckin with him alltogether and let him just be a memory? No tributes, memorials or anything of that nature? Stop playin his music maybe? Act like he never exsisted? And I'm sayin this based on nobody profiting from this except maybe organizations(I'm cool with that).

I seen this as a tribute to Pac if not one of the greatest tributes ever that I know of. Definately didnt see this as a mockery, an insult, or a subject of laughter. Imitation, yes. But in no way which attempted to tarnish his image or legacy. And again I'm speaking purely from the view of people profiting from an organizational standpoint.

If we should "let him rest in peace" then I would think everyone else should be left alone too that is no longer here. Dismiss all those tribute songs ever did to Pac, take Mac Dre's face off of all those Thizznation album covers, Stop puttin one in the air for Bob Marley, Fuck the Biggie movie, take every dead persons picture off the front of white T's....and so on.

Thats just what I think, me personally, when people say "let him rest in peace".

I like "real" tributes you know. Shit brings back memories and feelings that you hashed away, and even sometimes forgot that were there.

So yea, thats just my question to those who opposed the whole hologram issue.

What do you mean when you say "let him rest in peace"?

I'M SURE THE YOUNGER GENERATION KNOWS WHO PAC IS... IT AIN'T LIKE THAT HOLOGRAM GAVE US ANY IN DEPTH DETAIL ON WHO PAC WAS OR WHAT HE REPRESENTED..AND SEEING AS IT'S THE YOUNGER GENERATION YOU SPEAK OF THEN I'M GUESSING THAT THEY DOWNLOADED HIS MUSIC IF ANYTHING...
My Sister knew who he was but didn't know how much of a poet he was. My nephews had no clue who he was and now all of them are buying 2pac tracks.

I think it was a excellent tribute in all honesty, I was against Pacs mother releasing his stuff with new artists on it and changing up the sound but I had to think about it. She probly wanted it to sound more up to date and polished even though I didnt care for it at all. she had her reasons.

Thats what I was sayin in the open forum thread. If people were so pissed about this, why dont the Elvis fans kill the Elvis impersonators in Las Vegas or beat up Skittles for dancing like Michael Jackson.

If I had world wide success in music and died, I wouldnt mind people using my name to make money off me. As long as the right people got paid, I'd be looking down from heaven smiling like "look at me, Im still schooling these muthafuckas!" sitting between God and Jesus. Holding up both hands, givin DAP!

You dont take money with you when you die so fuck it.

If Dre or Snoop gained money from it, well so be it. YOU CANT KNOCK THE HUSTLE! The rap game is the same as the dope game.

Thats like hating on the dealer that took over the OGs corner. The OG got locked up/smoked and they decided to make money on that spot. Are you, the dealer, gonna say, "Nah I aint gonna slang on that spot because my homie that put me on got locked up/smoked.

pffffffft

INTERESTING DEBATE BUT I WOULD RATHER SEE A TUPAC TRIBUTE DONE BY THE OUTLAWS OR SOMEONE CLOSER 2 PAC. ALL OF U WHO SAY PAC WAS COOL WITH DRE AND SNOOP GOT LIED 2. HE WASNT FOND OF EITHER ONE OF THEM WHEN HE DIED AND THATS THE ONLY THING THAT REALLY BOTHERS ME. REAL ONES KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS AND BO JUST HAPPENS 2 BE A PERSON WHO ISNT AFRAID 2 SPEAK HIS MIND. I RIDE WITH HIM RIGHT OR WRONG AND RESPECT HIS PERSONAL OPINIONS JUST LIKE I RESPECT THE EFFORTS 2 KEEP FANS ATTACHED 2 THE MUSIC THRU TECHNOLOGY. WCM OR NADA ON MINE

That's the one thing that's been bothering me too. It doesn't seem like Pac would want someone he felt was his enemy, someone he felt betrayed by, or someone he wasn't fuckin' wit to be using his name OR likeness, whether they were getting paid or not. I don't think he would have liked someone sticking their hand up his ass like a puppet, moving him around, and having him say and do things he wouldn't be doing if he were alive... especially when financially, they absolutely didn't need to...

I guess if the money (from the hologram) that goes to the foundation that his mother set up, helps some underprivileged child somewhere... then I don't have to like it, but I can live with it. Pac was the kinda Cat that was a rider for the underdogs of the world; the type that wouldn't trip off helping someone less fortunate than himself...

I too respect BO's personal opinion on the matter. To quite honest, I was so caught up in the show that it took BO's statement to wake me up out of my daze so that I might closer examine the reality of the whole situation...
