well, since madden is the same game every year with little tweaks, & 2k5 shitted all over it years ago, i guess you cant go wrong with the download. you'll be able to delete it a year later with no regrets, anyway.
You can download about a mb/sec, sometimes even more. Meaning in about 10-20 minutes you could download most games and never worry about replacing the discs.
there are a lot of factors mainly PSN server traffic....wired/wireless connections....
it took me about an hour to download/install the black ops escalation maps and that was around 1.3 gb in size
fuck doing that with any 7gig and up game...waste of hard drive...i dont even wanna try downloading one of those "free" PS3 games they offering..not trying to leave my ps3 on for 6 hours or more....
dead nation is free through the "welcome back" program
peep it though
i bought that game when it first came out....so they counted that as my 1st free game....i only got 1 left lol...not that i care about the shitty selection they were offerering...its just funny that a game i purchased way prior was counted as one of selections
no dead nation is not worth $15 its free go to psn store and click the welcome back tab and lol at it taking 10-20 minutes to download a full game try 6-7 hours if not more dead nation took like 40 minutes
My internet connection is fast and anything that downloads on PSN is slow as fuck compared with downloading from Xbox Live. I never understand why that shit takes so god damn long.

Dead Nation is ok, worth getting if its a free game but besides that I wouldn't spend a dime on it. You can tell it was quickly thrown together just by the gameplay but theres a few good ideas here and there..
