I was talkin with my roommate after the debates and he brought up somethin that may be far-fetched but interestin to consider anyway. he said Bush's speaking reminds him of what hitler did to gain support. you appeal to people at an emotional/personal level rather than trying to use intelligence and logic. Bush's didnt use many facts in his debate, it was mostly empty rhetoric, and thats what the majority of Americans like to hear believe it or not. I'm not talkin about the people on this message board, I'm talkin about the bible-thumpers in the south and midwest where bush gets his supprot from. when Bush says shit like "god bless America" he really believes that god is blessing america, and the people who listen to him believe that too. plus, he speaks the common jargon so people think he's this everyday guy they can relate too, which is just a front, an act. Kerry is a fuckin smart guy, but Bush is totally shameless. the VERY FIRST thing he said in the debate was "well, september 11th changed America" I find it completely disgraceful that the leader of our country is so willing to exploit this tragedy to gain political support. fuckin disgusting.

they are so scared that the boogie man will get them i.e. Osama, the devil, etc that they wil forget that they have a life to live and a society to support. they will direct all of their focus into the slaughter of their fear that they won't do utilitarian maintanence of their own domestic issues.
the biggest thing that has been said against Kerry is that he is an egotistical liberal left wing smart-ass

people that support bushes "help" of iraq neglect the fact that MORE people need help here at home.
while their are in support of strengthening a gov't that may GET strong and intend to destroy us later america is getting weaker internationally and makes us susceptable to other TYPES of attacks that do not involve TERROR.
if you take into consideration that most people who support bush like he's their favorite football team tend not to realize that THEY LIVE LIKE A DEMOCRAT. if you don't make REPUBLICAN money you can't afford to be a part of that party. IF YOUR JOB IS LABOR RELATED YOU SHOULD SUPPORT THE PARTY THAT SUPPORTS LABOR. educate yourself about political systems and gov'ts in and outside of our country to understand their effectiveness.
