Why is inheriting money bad?
If you inherit good genes should that be considered unfair as well?
I didn't mean to insinuate it was bad(nor do I think I did) I merely said that most haven't earned the wealth.
See above.
Which raises insurance rates for everyone including all wealth demographics thereby negatively impacting their fellow struggling common men.
I'm pretty sure I said I didn't consider it the right move to make or that it was just, so I'm unsure why you are insinuating I did.
So you feel sympathy for the "average hood citizen" solely on the basis of how much money they have?
How can you make an argument to treat people fairly via equality and then maintain different standards of fairness based on the value of material possessions across segments of the population?
It's not on the basis of how much money they have that I sympathize with them more, it's merely relating to them. I've never been rich, but I sure have been poor. See how it would be easier to relate to one over the other from personal experience?
I'm not sure where you got the value of material possessions playing a role in that, the gated communities are safe, the poor parts are the opposite, was that clear enough? Merely making a point that worrying about your car getting stolen because it's expensive is a better problem to have than worrying about getting into it with your neighbor over menial things like race or affiliation(see L.A.).
Who is a trillionaire?
If you think the Forbes 500 list has everyones real info in it, well I dont what to tell you. Plus families and organizations share the wealth among a group, not just individuals holding onto it. So it's not who is, but who are. I know the vatican for one has a nice sized chunk of our global wealth.
What is the difference between being born into a society that subjects us against our will to the forces of inflation/taxes/etc - and being born into a society that subjects us against our will to redistribute wealth?
One is subtle about the invisible shackles it places on you, the other is upfront.
When I say redistribute the wealth, I should have clarified that I didn't mean something similar to being in a communist country or anything like that. It can be as simple as ending the federal reserve and using a money system that has the peoples best interest at heart, not the bankers of the world. It would be nice if our money wasn't lent at interest as well like it is currently, you know, not having every dollar be a form of debt.
I would just like the deck to be not as stacked against the average citizen as it is right now, apparently I'm asking for the impossible.
