Possibly. Shitty no name CD's can cause problems. Also if you are just burning audio CD's I would use itunes. Hella easy to search for the songs you want, then you just make a playlist and burn it all in the same program. But if you aren't already using it itunes is kind of a hassle to switch to.

i tried itunes an just dragged the songs from the folder they in but it still says burn error....somethin bout scratched cd or somethin....but them shits BRAND NEW!

hmm i dunno i used maxells for awhile and i did have some problems but not as much as other brands. i think i bought a 25 pack and like 2 or 3 fucked up. i use sonys, never had any problems. and if you are gonna use itunes make sure you set up the options to burn the kinda cd you want. i would also take the burning speed down a little bit from the maximum because if its going at max speed that can cause problems too.
